I wanted to give what I’ve experienced so far. Spawns were definitely bugged once you hit 15 the first week and still seem to be worse off. Since Tuesday though, I have been able to find 6 legendary animals. Only one of them was in a full lobby. If you’re in a lobby by yourself, they seem to be pretty consistent. I’ve been able to get one around every hour like Joel15cat said. One issue is, the top left notification never shows up for me now. You have to listen for the animal and check the minimap for the question mark which doesn’t seem to always show either. Fast traveling to Wapiti and Colter instantly spawned the wolf and fox for me the first try each. The blending tonic can also be extremely useful, when the Onyx Wolf’s backups came they didn’t even make their way to me. Sorry for the long post but just thought this was worth sharing and for clarifying that they can spawn for 15+ players now and the lobby size might be the bigger issue. After getting lucky last night, and managing a decent 30+ minutes without a connection issue, tonight it was back to 'load into a race series, back out to Free Roam, try doing anything, and ...booted out with a network error within a minute. If R* doesn't do a re-run of this week's event some time (or make the items available from a future legendary animal, then they're having a laugh - there's no way to even start sighting a legendary animal for many people right now, let alone get two completed by next Tuesday. Theoretically I could do something similar on Xbone through Clubs, or by joining a friend who's already in a session, but I've seen a bunch of regular RDO players in my Xbox network just stop playing, so presumably they're in the same boat. Ring Dang Do Posted August 6, 2020 Share Posted August 6, 2020 On PS4. Got to rank 20 in the new role in about 2 days and never saw any animals in freeroam since the update dropped. The last 3 days I have gone into private lobbies with a little more success. In a 2 hour session with a friend we found 3 legendary animals. In a 2 hour session the next day alone I found again 3 legendary animals but for the first hour I found nothing. In a 3 hour session alone the next day I found zero legendary animals. Not sure if it’s just with me but I have never come across the same Legendary animal twice. I have also found legendary animals in weather conditions that were not advertised, example being finding animals during the day with the sun shining when they were meant to be found at night. Has anyone else killed the same legendary animals more than once when in a private lobby themselves without having a friend spwn it? Rev. Heres a tip, dont lock rare things behind your spawn mechanic. For years this has been a problem in GTA and RDO. Use the missions system..make them hard, hell make them required cooperation, but locking anything behind their spawn mechanic has to be a joke. This is how legendary animals should work. Throw a legendary animal phermone, walk away, and wait. Hell even when it is in the players control, its broken...the camp, wagons, moonshine building. Put it in the players control, not your stupid broken spawn mechanic. How is this even a thing at this point? Lets use the spawn system for camps...broken for a year. Lets use the spawn system for animals that need to be delivered to broken camp...broken for a year. Lets use the spawn system legendary animals...broken for a who knows. (legendary animal map). haven't opened one yet. how do these gators spawn exactly?! are there some MANDATORY tonics I need, when I kill or sedate them?!
