on my GTA San Andreas Cj can't dive

In my game, CJ dives to a certain limit, then he goes on and can't dive.  I'm stuck on a mission because of this error, on YouTube videos show how to solve this problem through the frame limiter, talk to turn off this limiter but in the ps3 version of GTA San Andreas you don't have that option, what do I do please  !!!
