After almost 2 years since release I'll finally go hard on Arena Wars now that they are rewarding 3x AP! Also, survival is fun too. Should be a fun 2 weeks.

Double survivals is always nice, and I'm sure I'll play some arena too. But the days of hoping for AP to get unlocks are long behind me, I just play that arena for the fun it is.

Hmmm, let's see:

• hate Arena Wars, so no amount of incentives will make me play it, thus discounts are irrelevant to me
• The Sugoi is utter crap
• Laser Weapons are just a stealth money-sink - put my freebie ones in the locker long ago
• Survivals interest me, but double rewards means $60K - I can make more than that using any of the hundreds of custom shooting galleries where completion is guaranteed

I know that you can't please everyone all of the time, but damn, R* - you've got a real talent for giving us something in theory while giving us nothing in practice.

Very unpopular opinion, but I've recently taken a liking to certain Arena War events - in *small* doses. I think it reminds me of playing Twisted Metal as a kid or something.

I do enjoy some bumper cars, lol. Although currently it is plagued with players stuck on loading to where everyone needs to quit. Ridiculous really.

 

But when I get into a game, good fun usually. I hope they did like with RDRO and spend the downtime fixing bits, but I'm not holding my breath.

Too bad, like last time with the x3 event no vehicle upgrades are on sale which make you spend the price of 1+ AW vehicle(s) for upgrades ( ofc the random unlocks are mostly useless).

Has anyone been lucky enough to won the Dinka Sugoi? I have been trying for four days now. Also bought Hellbringer. It's one fun machine to run around with. Will go ahead and try to buy the Toros once I figure out on how to clear some of my garage space.

The Sugoi drives like crap bro, feels really sluggish. Nice visual mods though, decent one for a collector. Haven't won it but only because I have one. I put the time in on the wheel (close app method) if there's a car I really want on there. 

 

I was gonna post this on the last day of the event cause I know this isn't that type of forum but I (inadvertently) came across it in a random YouTube comment section so I guess it's out there... bought a Dominator for 35k, upgraded it to Apocalypse for about 535k, realised the standard armour upgrade option disappeared after upgrading it, so sold it. Was pleasantly surprised to see it sold for 700k (bout 130k more than I paid ish). Nice bonus.
