Taskbar not showing when clicking windows key

Hi, I recently got GTA on my pc. Normally, when I want to see the taskbar when playing a game, I just click on the windows key, to the right of left control. However, it is not showing up in gta. I have tried every window mode apart from windowed as my native res is not there (1920x1080), my aspect ratio is 16:9, I have 1 output monitor, fxaa on, msaa off, vsync on, pause game on focus loss on. Someone help plz.
