Whatever you want to call the mechanism where you give a collection to Madame Nazar and she gives you money. I guess that's selling, but for some reason that wording never felt right. Each collection you trade into Madame Nazar automatically gives you 1000 XP, which is the same XP required to gain a rank in the OP. I had a full 10 sets of every collection saved up, and I still have 2 (some have 3) sets of each collection left. I don't know about the 3000 xp reward, but so long as it doesn't or hasn't expired it should still be good. In fact, if you claim it that 3000 xp should apply to the OP. Shortly after unlocking the stash of 20 animal fat (which I use for explosive ammo), I had to defend against a griefer and a player who had launched an assassination mission with me as the target. Saved a lot of time! The 40 gold might be steep, but I have plenty, and you do get some back... plus a lot of other stuff that can make it worthwhile, depending on your play style. I have ticketed Rockstar about the dances not being available to use in the moonshine shack and they say that they are only emotes. This is despite being billed as "dances" in exactly the same way as the dances were billed in the OP 2. You can see below how they were both sold in the exact same way in OP2 & OP3. I'm now trying to tell R* via a ticket that they must now provide a working dance or change the outlaw pass' wording. Please do the same. This one from the outlaw pass 2 is a working dance This one is only an emote - Can you see the difference? Definitely not the only one. They were labeled as dances, and as we can actually dance in the shack it was more than fair to assume that's what we were getting. If anyone has an xbox, give it a try, maybe it's console problem. I started a second character because I wanted to make a native american character. I wanted to grind and make enough gold for the outlaw pass, but started receiving benefits after the first mission. I originally made the second xbox account so I could create more gta crews, I cant remember if the two email accounts are linked in someway. The second one is literally the first email with the number 2 added in. Might be worth some investigating. To be clear, absolutely not trying to argue with anyone here. I reacted too early The game is just notifying me about what I'm unlocking as with the outlaw pass, technically, but I cant access it until I fork out some gold. I'm guessing there are some benefits given to all new players that correlate with Outlaw Pass benefits, because I ranked up, was notified about r* benefits, held 'start' until the page opened and I had 2 free 2000 naturalist xp, sedative rounds, and legendary animal pheromones. Commander S Posted August 24, 2020 Share Posted August 24, 2020 Having gotten over halfway through this pass, I've got to admit that it's probably the best value so far - mainly down to the amount of useful discount vouchers it gives you. Yeah, there's a point where R* needs to do away with "1 free ability card", and change it to "$100 off an ability card/upgrade" (because most people have all the Tier 1 ones at this point) - but they've done better overall when it comes to clothing discounts, with fewer on crappy vests, and more that actually work on the new drip-feed items (many of which aren't rubbish! ). Free/discounted role items are particularly welcome - not just for the Naturalist stuff, but there's stuff from Bounty Hunter/Collector I'd have bought ages back, but for the prices. Same with the emotes - there are some good new ones, but not $200 good, so 'free' is a much better price for them. My only gripe, once again, is that folk who are playing other games right now, or are having connection issues, or mightn't start playing RDO until next-gen, etc., are likely going to miss out on cool unique things like outfits, camera filters, gun customisation, etc., just because they lucked out and missed this current pass. I really, really hope that they don't come to a future incarnation of GTAO as well - hopefully the 'battle pass' bubble pops between now and then... kcole4001 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
kcole4001 Posted August 24, 2020 Share Posted August 24, 2020 A few of the free rewards are actually useful, as in new emotes that would normally cost gold can be gained using the free emote reward. Outlaw passes are worth buying because they are easy to rank up, you have loads of time to finish them, and in the end you get all of your gold back through rewards. Many of the rewards will be useless for long time players, but some will be quite useful, so it has a fairly broad appeal, but mostly biased toward newer players, who will rank up faster via the pass rewards than just through normal play.
