"Legendary" Elk You can't with the Legendary, since the mission ends as soon as you sample it (when the criteria is to get a sample.) So you "sample" "MISSION SUCCESS: SAMPLE LEGENDARY ELK. MISSION OVER" (whatever it says.) Then it reload you not in the same exact place, without that Legendary animal to take a picture of. Yeah, you can with regular animals in the "poacher" missions, since they don't end and reload you after you free the animal. The third Legendary Elk one, I was therefore ready to take the photo FIRST: Instead, in that one it was "Angry" and kept charging me (Killing me once, making me respawn, while trying to take a picture (glad that did not end the mission ) ) So I still could not take the dang photo. The stupid horse bucked me and did a flee right away too, worse than when wolves/whatever are on its booty and I'm mashing the "pat" button. So I'm 0 for 3, to take a photo of the Legendary Elk. Got away the first time, did not know the mission ends right away when sample the second time (did not want it to get away, like before), then was out to gore me the third time so tranqued it again instead. I found a few of them north of Brandywine Drop. Riding around between Charlotte's home and Dragic's lab. They were closer to the river for sure, but you can find them a little bit deeper into the wooded areas too. If that doesn't work I also sighted one or two at Aurora Basin and very rarely near Owanjila and Hanging Dog Ranch. Jason Posted August 1, 2020 Author Share Posted August 1, 2020 For Moose I've been going to Tall Trees or Brandywine drop. They can be found next to water taking a drink but you can find them in the trees too, at Tall Trees they can spawn in the forest part, in particular the parts where "Tall Trees" is written vertically on the map, anywhere those letters touch is a region where they can spawn. We are definitely sure legendary animals are broken and not spawning as intended.
