RyuNova
Pretty sure that a lot of the timers have extra zeros added to them by accident. The number of Sedative Ammo made per plant should be ten and not one and the Perk for spotting Legendary Animals should increase it by x2 and its likely it increases it by x20 which overloads the system and it returns a NULL result so no animal spawns darkmaster234 and Officer Friendly

I'd never figured this out, thinking she just stamped things when you talked to her. It turns out, after looking at some posts online, that you have an extra thing at the bottom of a completed one to turn them in. I'd never noticed that (you don't even have to be around Harriet.) I think it was "x to turn in", or something. Boom 20! I thought Harriet was coming on to my character, kind of, then I notice she is drawing a nude lady from the back (if you catch her sitting down.) It is one of those crazy little details, that amaze me. Got the 20 Piebald Naturalist horse, rank 2 so far. Not really enough to see how good it is. Mostly I'm enjoying shooting the heck out of animals again, in my rank 20 "hippie" outfit! I've kind of figured that out, it warps you to the nearest "Freebie" one that was always there but now you can craft at it? Or could you always? It then leaves the icon for it on the map, for a time, so you can see where it is. Yeah, seems kind of lame for 750 but since I had $40,000 at the start of this DLC I don't really mind (down to about $32,000 now.) Time to kill those horrible Legendary animals which are the WORST to sedate; Hated that Sapa cougar and stuff, plus the stupid boar who rams me and my wussy horse bucks me off. Now Moonstone's "wolf pack" will be fun, instead of me sedating 7 wolves. "Beavergeddon" was kind of fun to sedate/sample (I jumped up on a rock), but will be WAY more fun to kill... Irritating part is I'm sure she'll spray me and make me wait 15 minutes? May I trouble you with some quick questions? Is the Sapa Cougar PS4 only? (I'm on Xbox) What color is the Sapa? At what rank does Harriet offer the mission? 18 minutes ago, Rev. Gnash said: That smudge on her face is a tad bit distracting. Is it dirt or beaver scat? She was the victim of mass beaver bukakke! If you kill it and one person skins it, does everyone automatically get the pelt? Same thing for sedation and sampling? If one person samples the legendary, then the mission ends immediately, and every single posse member gets that legendary sample. If one person skins the legendary, then the mission ends immediately, and only the person who skinned the legendary gets the pelt (they spawn back into free roam carrying it). Every other posse member gets sweet FA. Because my friends and I have already donated all 8 samples to Harriet, we’re now all trying to skin the legendaries. As a result, tonight, despite the fact that we were all online at the same time, my friends and I all played on our own, doing the legendary missions solo in our own separate ‘streams.’ From a game design perspective, if your multiplayer game design choices encourage a group of friends to avoid playing together, and instead play solo, I think that’s a massive fail. They really need to set it so that all posse members get the legendary pelt, the same as the samples. There's only one of each animal, so there's one pelt. Whereas a sample you could take multiple of from the same animal. This update is definitely more solo oriented, but there's still plenty of other things to do as a posse Buddy Hightower
fryday
Ok I learned to today, that you can trade in your stamps, if you got all of them collected per category. but what happens, if you got all animal checklists at 100%? is there a reward, too? You get money and xp every time you sell a sample, and selling a sample gets you a stamp for that animal.Once you've gotten every animal in a category stamped, you can sell it directly from the field guide for more money and xp. Lemoyne outlaw
hi everyone. so today i reached rank 20 on the naturalist. a few days ago i posted my thoughts about the dlc. i said that i did not like it and i really hated on it.but now after finishing the role. i actually enjoyed it more. i played a lot of the legendary missions. and that really helped. once i found out how to rank up quick i was happier. and i even enjoyed harriets crazy ramblings and dialogue. although i still hated the no animal killing rule. but now that i dont have to worry about it. im not upset anymore. im glad that i kept playing and finished the role. because the dlc was not as bad as i said in my previous post. i still dont think that it is a super amazing dlc. but i would probably give it a 6/10 now. hopefully tomorrow we get some cool new stuff. YNNEL
I’m enjoying it in fairness. And I really didn’t think I would when I first started it last week. The legendary animal missions have been fun and Gus is a nice addition. I’d give it a 7/10. I mean the game has 5 roles now so there is definitely a fair amount to do for a new player. I just hope they add more outlaw focused stuff next. XxJazzy42xX

True, it did bothered me that the rifle was so bad for hunting and gunplay unless pib and tonics spam, and the lack of rasing in stalls and outfits slots too. They should have noticed by now thay fashion is way more important here than in gta. Again, I just think that if an online multiplayer game is actively encouraging friends not to play together, then something has gone wrong from a game design perspective. If it was some niche activity, sure, but legendary animal hunts are basically the main focus of this entire DLC. I strongly believe that you should be able to do legendary hunts with your friends without being robbed of rewards. Tez2
Finally reached rank 20, I'm finally free from Harriet obligations and strict rules. From now on, I can skin legendary animals and focus on Gus clothing, or boost up my Trader business. She's a great asset when it comes to providing us with legendary animals missions, but it doesn't take long before she gets on your nerves with her spray bottle. Overall, the update isn't too bad nor is it too great, an average yet cool update. It does tick off a missed opportunity to expand further with the two sides, Harriet and Gus, but I see why it gives off this kind of impression, considering the effects of the pandemic. The unfortunate thing is, you’re never really free from her, because you still need to be on good terms with her to launch legendary hunt missions, and sell the proceeds of the Naturalist FRE’s. Something just occurred to me: happens if you join the animal tagging FRE and don’t have sedative rounds? Technically you can craft the sedative rounds - oh so slowly - but in practice you’re kind of beholden to Harriet for those too.
jazzbone
Harriet sprayed me so i chucked a stick of dynamite at her. I figured a little dynamite therapy may work on her like it does, sometimes, on my idiot MFT. After i hung around a while admiring the damage i caused Harriet became friendly again. With her face now covered with black smudges Harriet totally ignored that i caused those smudges. Rev. Gnash and kcole4001

Nah, not really. She seems to only; spray you once, no matter what, then you just wait 15 minutes. After that, it looks like a cool down before she does again? I did not really notice a rhyme or reason to when she does, either; I ran out of the sedative rounds, my bad, while doing the legendary fox. So the fox died (since it switched to regular varmint rounds. ) THAT time she sprayed me, though I'd been very good before that. Then, after I got that hat from Gus, I hit 20 soon after. So I did the Legendary Buffalo mission with her, killed it since I was 20 now anyway, then got that hat from Gus. Next time I go to Harriet, she acts like nothing is wrong? So there seems to be a cool down before she does it again, after she maces you. So it doesn't seem like a game breaker. Plus, if you are no longer actively sedating "max" rounds from her are going to last you a long time. The only thing that bothers me, now I can wantonly kill again, is that the stupid Alligator large skins take up space in the Hunting Wagon now (with this addition, just like the other large ones such as Elk or Cow/Bull.) So I was all happy, about gator spawns finally existing, but it is largely moot unless your camp is around Lagras and you are just tossing 5 in your wagon to turn in to Cripps.
