DJ-Jelly-Doughnut
Like the title states.. looking for any ideas anyone may have on what my issue is... bear in mind I've been to a mechanic a few times about this. When I'm going about 35/40 the truck will start to vibrate. Nothing in the steering wheel, just in the frame it seems. It really intensifies when I get up to about 60. So.. when this started, I took it to a mechanic, he said I just may need new tires and or alignment and or balanced.. I did have bad tires on there at the time.. so I took it to a tire shop and opted for D.) All of the above. When I picked it up the tire tech tells me that he knows what my issue might have been. The bolts were sticking out too far past the spacers so when the tires, so they sheared them down to the right length and tightened the tires on.. Well, bad tires were only part of the issue.. now it seems to vibrate... but only a little smoother.. I think that's about all the info I have.. and am now currently at a loss. I can't drive over 40 (comfortably for my sake or the trucks..) meaning I can't even leave town if I want. Any ideas??

Earthbound
Does it have a two piece tail shaft? Often you'll find the centre bearing will fail and will cause a vibration at varying speeds.
DJ-Jelly-Doughnut
I'm not sure what it has. A guy from work suggested I check out the drive shaft.. I just wanna be able to drive it wherever.
Standard Deluxe 59
Could it be your body mounts? Body-on-frame cars and trucks have rubber bushings that sit between the body and frame around the bolts that, well bolt the two together that isolate vibrations in the frame from the road. After 18 years they're probably dry and cracked so they're no longer working as intended. That's all I can think of at the moment if it isn't anything related to suspension. DJ-Jelly-Doughnut
I will definitely look into that. It only seems to vibrate, doesn't feel like it goes up and down so I'm pretty sure it's not suspension. Where would I find those bushings?
