(GTA5 online)Why do i see the green tick on the missions that i have failed?

Question 1 - I was playing Gerald's "End Product"(GTA5 Online) mission yesterday, which i failed many times and still couldn't pass it, still when i go to "pause-online-jobs-rockstarcreated- missions", i see green tick on that mission. It looks like i have passed the mission, whereas, i have not passed it, as of now. The green tick on that mission also shows up on the "Voting screen"(that comes up when you pass or fail in a mission). Is there a way to see the missions that i have still not passed?

Question 2 - When i go to Simeon or Gerald by myself, they only give missions that i have already played, In order to get new missions by them i need to call Gerald or Simeon. Whereas, Lamar always gives new missions when i go to him. I have played few missions of Simeon and Gerald by going to "Pause-online-jobs-rockstarcreated-missions", could that be a reason behind that?

i think that only let you know you have played that mission at some point, its not a completion mark.

In the menus there is a list of all the contact missions available that you can do. You can pick which one you want from there.

Pause the game, go to the "online" tab and click on Jobs. It will be the first thing on the list then click on "play job" and then select "Rockstar created". After that select "missions" from the list of job types and you are good to go.

Note however that many of the contact missions are locked to rank and cannot be started by you personally if you don't meet the rank requirement. Some require you being as high as rank 70 if I recall. You can however do those missions if you join a host who is high enough in rank, you can achieve that by going through the quick join option on your phone.

Its more time efficient to just select a job that the game gives you on the voting screen after completing a job instead of loading back into free mode and selecting a new job that way.

I admit though I wish they stuck to their guns on rank requirements for the heists which are a lot harder than contact missions. Try completing Doomsday Act 3 Finale with a rank 10 and see how far you get.

My question was a little different, but thanx for the tip.
