Guest
Well I played 1.2.0.43 version and then came down to 1.0.7.0 and 1.1.2.0 because some mods didn't worked out. Playing this game with simple trainer. Let me know your thoughts about this version please. Peace. Edited July 26, 2020 by Guest
TWIST_OF_HATE
Not a best choice anyway I would recommend 1.0.4.0 version, here is why: Edited July 26, 2020 by TWIST_OF_HATE
ant_sh
1.0.7.0 has best shadows of them all and I prefer it on modern hardware, it also supports DLCs. 1.0.4.0 is better for old PCs.

That video's not a fair comparison as 1040 very high shadowmap resolution is equal to 1070/1080 medium shadowmap resolution
Nico
1.0.7.0 and 1.1.2.0 are my favourite versions of IV and EFLC. These are my specs: My commandline: -norestrictions -nomemrestrict -availablevidmem 4096 -framelimit 1 -refreshtrate 60 -width 1366 -height 768 -windowed I have a small monitor, thus the low resolution. With these specs 1.0.7.0 and 1.1.2.0 play reasonably well, graphics maxed out. The framerate is not perfect all the time but I am not obsessed with that, been playing these versions for so long I just don't care. Quality of shadows is more important to me. Don't know about fair, the only thing I know is that 1.0.7.0 looks better on modern GPU that can handle it.
