Do Cheats Not Work Anymore (PS4)?

I've played this game 100 times, by the way. It's been a few years and I decided to play it again. When I try to bring up the keypad on the cellphone the usual way (which is to press the square button) It just doesn't work. At first I thought it was because I was on a mission so I waited and tried again. Still not working. Did they patch this or something? Change it? Because what I used to do to access the keypad (which was always that) is not working now and I was wondering if there's a fix or something?
