Ban definitely = Authorized buyout of the game?

Hello Players, ( Sorry in advance for my bad english )

I would like some information.

I had a GTA Online account for more than 6 years, I had no less than 1500 hours of play around, and I was level 360 or 370. Unfortunately this one was permanently banned by Rockstar, Why? well .... * head down * I just cheated, and I assume the consequences.

I have a character to be anti-cheat, I hate it, I have even denounced cheaters in the game several times. So why did I become one? simply fed up with installing it, fed up with logging in only to work without enjoying the game ... but yes, it's the game you would say, and you are right . When I had introduced the "illegal" money, I felt uncomfortable, to the point where I did not even play 30 minutes on it, Rockstar quickly chopped me, and I paid the price .

Today, I lost more than 5 years of play, but that will teach me, that it serves as a lesson to me. So, I have to start all over again, maybe it's time to start a better game again, because I had spent a lot of money (winning the same I specify) for nothing. Sometimes millions for items and vehicles I never used.

My question is simple, even if it annoys me to start all over again, I am ready to do it, being an honest player like I have been during these 5 years.

I read on several forums, when Rockstar banned an account permanently, that even if we buy a new GTA, that we create a new social club account, Rockstar can again ban us permanently, even if we don't cheat, is it true ?

I have also read on several forums that Rockstar is targeting the IP during a permanent ban, and that this could result in a ban on the new account ... I would like to be sure this information is true or false.

Thanks in advance for your answers, and again sorry for my bad english.

AFAIK the ban for the PC version is just to the account which effectively prevents any online play for the account holder. To play online again you would need a new copy of the game or new license, a new email address, character name, social club, etc, and start over as a new player.

1) No, Rockstar don't track players or accounts like that. It perhaps wouldn't be in their best interests to do it that way, considering some people (like yourself) turn a new leaf and "never go down that road again".

That doesn't mean you (anyone) should be blase about things though.

2) Rockstar doesn't IP ban anyone unless it's serious - like someone attempting to kick Rockstar Staff offline or mod menu developers etc - and what I've heard is they'll actually Hardware ID ban rather than IP ban, as the latter is easier to circumvent.

Good luck and definitely try and play legit this time. ;)
