I love the front, especially those gorgeous headlights, but the rear-quarter view makes it look very odd. I can't say I love the shape, and the rear kinda has a weird retro thing going on that I don't love. Of course, so does the De Tomaso, so at least they were faithful to the original to a certain degree. I guess I'll wait to see someone bring it to LSC and race it before I make up my mind completely.

Would've been cool if it was possible to paint the stock wheels. They look too good to swap out, yet would go well being gold with a red/black paint job.

Okay, so this looks nice than I thought it might - particularly compared to stuff like the Emerus, which doesn't really work for me as a Senna knock-off. I really rather like what they've done with the back, which makes it look even more like something like a modern take on the 33 Stradale () than the actual P72 - might end up doing a tribute to my FH4 ranked PvP 33S (as soon as there's a discount on it, anyway!).

I used diamond blue, the pearl you can choose between any blue shade

Yeah, that’s what I did! Even though it’s close, it’s not quite there, though. I guess I would need to rely on using a crew color to make it close to perfect, then.

Ok.. so I wasn't expecting much from this update but a bunch of half assed-ness.. and in many ways that's what we got.

I expect corners to be cut on vehicles now, with the end somewhere in sight. 

But I certainly wasn't expecting a car that I wishlisted.. hard.. and I gotta say I'm quite happy with it, all things considered.

As usual there are things I would change, but none so that I even want to bring them up right now.

The main ingredients are good.

She's a joy to drive.. fast.

And she's sooooooo fkin pretty.

Ok so it's not often that I buy a car based on looks alone. But I wanted to see if this car would be worth keeping, so I sold my Stromberg just to buy the Tigon. The car's worth over GTA$ 2.3mil after all.

 

I test all my cars up in the mountains above Vinewood Hills. I'm gonna be using my FMJ as a reference point, because the Tigon seems to have a lot in common with the FMJ, and not just the interior. I LOVE its looks. I love how R* kept it close to the De Tomaso P72 for 3/4 of the car apart from the rear, where it resembles more a 2000s Ford GT (or even the modern Lancia Stratos concept), which I don't mind since the P72's rear is a bit crazy IMO. The Tigon is supercar fast, at least as fast as the FMJ. Acceleration I'd argue is better than the other; for one thing, it doesn't have the enormous torque of the FMJ that causes wheelspin when accelerating from a dead stop, so the Tigon gets to higher speeds quicker. Engine note is nice, but nothing unique; I can't tell if I'd heard it before in another car (most likely). Handling is about on par with the FMJ, meaning that it's got loads of grip and stays glued to the road around tight bends. Steering is light and sharp, the car is a quick turner. Brakes are solid too, pretty short stopping distance. It's RWD so it can oversteer if you throw it around, but oddly it oversteers much less at high speed than it does at lower speeds on the streets. One thing I'm glad it has over the FMJ is slightly more forgiving suspension. The FMJ is stiff and flat as a go-kart, so I constantly worry that it might flip over on bumpy mountain roads. The Tigon doesn't have that problem, it does a better job at absorbing bumps and hilly roads.

 

Customization is nothing to write home about, with the only notable bits being the front and rear bumpers, exhaust, spoilers and livery. Interior is the same as the FMJ, which is not necessarily a bad thing. It's a fine interior, I just wish you could at least change colour. The dash is blocked again by the steering wheel, and disappointingly the gullwing doors don't have the Stirling GT's animation. One thing that redeems the interior for me is the T-top style glass roof. The windshield is already incredibly tight, so the glass on the gullwing doors makes it feel a lot more airy and adds visibility if you like to drive in first person (I do sometimes). Oh and the rear of the car is clamshell, so coupled with the gullwing doors and exposed engine bay is something to show off at car meets.

 

So do I regret selling my Stromberg? No. For this car not one bit. Is it worth its price tag? Hard to say. I'd have probably preferred if it were closer to the FMJ, which in itself is a little north of 1.5mil. But the Tigon is quite the looker that's also super fun to drive. Now I just need to grind back the money for another Stromberg.

I love the 3D effect taillights, really nice feature. Too bad there isn't carbon roof option as I don't want the pearlescent on my roof. Though, looking at the rest of the DLC cars, the carbon roof probably would have had pearl too
Really conflicted about carbon details - sometimes I want liveries on carbon, sometimes not but I definitely don't want pearl on it.

Yeah the pearl effecting the 2nd colour has always bothered me, surely rockstar could change it so pearl does not work on matt paint or something like that.

Agreed I like simple but functional personally.

 

It is the first car I bought from the update and it sure is pretty I shall get some footage of it in action soon.

I get that people don't like the odd shape. It's not going to be to everyone's taste, but I absolutely f*cking love this car. And it's fast. Haven't tried it in any races yet, but I'm guessing it would be really competitive.
