Biggest dlc ever because what game should've got in the summer will get in December + something that they will work from summer filler dlc.

My guess for the new location? Catalina island. A preview of a more tropical setting we might see in VI, not too big and close enough to LA/LS to randomly pop up near the main island without seeming weird like North Yankton would.

Sorry but the best guess for a new location is “next gen” if R* was going to do a map expansion it sure as sh*t wouldn’t be on x1/ps4 or it would have happened by now,  hell rdr2 has extra areas and it was sh*t on with the new fetch quest update.  Just buy the games again for what the 4th time for gta and the 2nd for rdr and here’s a new area you’ve already been that you can go back to?  If you can’t see the scam it is go for it, it’s the latest $$ grab from R* with the “biggest update ever” bullsh*t.  Just remember they’ve done it before w/ the gtav release, ever expanding world only on 360/ps3 then it’s on x1/ps4 with more content and fixes then hey after you bought it twice look here it’s now on pc.  You’ll get map expansions and better content, just buy it again.

I would take this with a grain a salt. cockstar has allowed that cheat program full admin rights for many months now. Any attempt to report them, the report does to the cheater only.

Thats like, totally unrelated, and its moderator rights and not exclusive to some 'cheat program', they all have it now. People have been abusing that R* moderator menu for maybe 5 years, its just that recently this 'feature' became available to free menu's so now every chucklef*ck can boast about being able to stop reports.

Thats why they added video-reporting back to the support site, when you see a cheater the better way to report them now is shoot a short video where you show that this person has godmode/teleports around/whatever, then upload that to youtube and share with R* support.

If I remember it right, @Gaffa said you can still report as other and write "cheat menu user" or something like that.

Yeah you can do, I don't actually know for sure if those reports still actually go to Rockstar because there's a string of text attached, I dunno. If those reports are still set to a weight of 0 like if the other report categories were used, perhaps they never reach Rockstar... 

 

Also I don't know what @computertech82 is talking about with the "full admin rights" - anyone that uses Rockstar-Staff only "admin" functions, and they're not on a "whitelist" to use them, they get banned. That's why all the Finger of God functions were removed from such mod menus to prevent people using them getting banned. 
Being able to kick other players and crash the game and stuff is just abusing in-game functions (there are invalid objects that, upon being spawned in the game, cause it to crash and there's multiple types of kick events that can be used to... kick people from lobbies). 

 

Of course, it'd be nice for Rockstar to patch all the invalid objects... there's lists floating around the internet in multiple places.

Yeah but I doubt that R* is going to let us freely visit that location as its probably only going to be used for heists.

North Dakota (being the state that North Yankton is based on) generally only gets snow for 5 months of the year. So even if we did get North Yankton as an add on, don't automatically assume it wil always be snowing, as per story mode.

I think the "new location" will still be in LS, my guess is either Mile High or Rockford Mall. Hoping for a true map expansion is just setting up for disappointment.
