PLATINUM!! (or some other type, just used as an example). Add mining or speculating as a way of aquiring this new currency... In nuggets of course and bars would be needed for spending. This would keep from people blasting through new content on day one... Mind you this would enrage the people... Myself included... Who sandbagged their gold and dollars for something new. But to the people who think they have nothing to worry about because they have plenty of current currency... Never count your chickens before they hatch, because just when you think you know the answer... They change the question. Ive seen it done in other mmos is why im not getting cocky.
