WitherSkeleton
Anyways which mission do you prefer is the most boring and least boring for you?
Guest
Scouting the Port(V) is the most famous boring mission probably. The docks were nice scenery but the mission was too slow and long imo. A lot of heist setup missions could fit this category A Bull in a China Shop(IV). Most of Romans and Vlads tutorial like missions in the beginning portion can be boring on subsequent playthroughs when you already know the story/are accustomed to the mechanics Couple more that come to mind are Grand Theft Auto (III) and Photo Opportunity (SA) One mission that I've seen some say is boring is the Bureau Raid Firetruck Approach, the part where you mop the floor is especially mocked but I like this mission tbh, it felt slow but tense too so that's one that's said to be boring that I disagree with. universetwisters
A lot of IV's missions during the last 1/3 of it were pretty boring. Yeah, there was a lot of shooting and action, but it wasn't really as varied as missions in the previous games were like Vice City, for example. Just your typical "Go to X location, shoot Y people, get money" format. Luckily TLAD and TBOGT gave some varied missions to make them more interesting. Although if we're looking for complete wastes of missions, I'm with above; Scouting the Port is just a waste of time. Trevor could've easily got what he needed by taking pictures off the overpass instead of roleplaying as a dockworker. TheSantader25
There are a lot of candidates but "Distribution" has to be the most boring mission of the series for me.
VenusianDream
Definitely 'Scouting the Port'. It's such a tedious mission and Trevor's attitude towards doing actual work at the docks reflects how I feel about it. It's one of the least enjoyable missions in GTA V, and the preceding heist is just as bad as it didn't even give us a reward in the end (Although story-wise I think it's cool to see Trevor's method of planning and picking heists compared to Michael's). The best part about the mission is seeing Wade covered in sh*t. Other missions I found boring were 'Photo Shoot', 'Slacker', 'Boomshine Blowout', and 'Boiler Suits'. Cause if it's the latter then I'm with you to an extent but I found this mission quite hard lol so for me it was more frustrating than boring, that's why I found it interesting when you mentioned it Edited July 25, 2020 by Guest Added few words
VenusianDream
@Utopianthumbs Both. I was initially gonna say 'Robbing Uncle Sam', that mission is tedious as hell to complete even now. But then I remembered that VCS had the same exact mission, but it was much easier for me to complete because I had already played through SA multiple times by then. So not only was the mission tedious, it was also not very challenging and had already been done in another game. Instead of stealing weapons from the military for Grove Street, we're collecting our drunk friend's explosive moonshine from a burning warehouse. I'd say that 'Boomshine Blowout' is one of my least favorite missions in VCS for these reasons. gtafaninwest
I find most of Manny and Pegorino's missions quite boring. The same can be said in GTA IV's 2/3 of the storyline missions.
Zenit
I think most of the Portland missions in GTA 3 were dull, while the rest was getting more intense. In GTA SA, I feel like the countryside missions felt like very lethargic. In LCS, I think Maria's missions were a bit of a meh. About IV; Manny and Francis missions were just a filler. In V, I think the missions before the Jewel Store Rob were just a meh, like... come on! I want more action!
KGBeast
The only missions I find boring are the ones where you literally do nothing. Buying 3 masks or boiler suits is nothing. But personally I don't mind doing yoga or anything else, I think any kind of content or gameplay is valid, as long as you're actually doing something instead of clicking a button on a menu three times. GTA-Biker
A bunch of the missions in GTA 5 were boring IMO,from buying masks and boiler suits, to getting any random 4 door car and parking it in a specific location, to having to operate a crane before scoping out the heist target, to doing yoga, etc. They would get a pass if they're the tutorial missions at the beginning of the game, but starting the game with a bank heist, following it with some car chases and shootouts, and then making me go buy a mask, followed by another heist and some other action packed missions, after which I have to do yoga feels inconsistent (either start slow and gradually speed up,or start fast and keep that pace, but don't be all over the place). Before anyone accuses me of hating GTA 5,I feel the same way about missions that make you do boring mundane activities in the middle or by the end of the story in previous GTA games (such as Photo Opportunity in GTA SA),but I feel like they didn't have nearly as many of them as GTA 5.
