How to make a patch look more realistic.

Hello there,

So recently I got into patch making, I dont do commissions, I just make them for the fun and practice however if someone does ask for me to give them one then I do because I have no use with them.  Anyway that's besides the point.  I'm looking to advance in making patches and I feel like I need to learn how to give patches the stitched look (like this here) nizWJtX.png
