They were enabled just for some people as a trial, and we're not expecting to enable signatures globally. Can you see mine? Another GTA Fan Posted July 22, 2020 Share Posted July 22, 2020 Just to add to this, I too can't see signatures, though to be honest signatures has always been a questionable feature on forums anyway. Either I constantly confuse them as being part of a post, or some forums neglect to limit them and members end up making their signature a book or something. I don't know about anyone else, but signatures just seem entirely pointless and obsolete these days. I've noticed we get a huge amount of freedom with our profiles anyway, even going as far as letting us add a profile cover photo which is pretty cool. I haven't done anything with mine yet, but I can see there's a lot you can do for your public image if you so choose. Call it an unpopular opinion, but signatures do nothing but clutter up topics anyway. My experience with GTAF has been much clearner and better since signatures haven't been there. Sure some could argue about the ability to disable them, but still, if you want to express yourself, make your profile look pretty. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Spider-Vice Posted July 22, 2020 Share Posted July 22, 2020 That is one of the reasons we haven't enabled sigs for everyone, along with signal-to-noise ratio reasons for guests and general browsing. It's just they were a part of our legacy so we have them on for some restricted groups. That toggle is tucked away in the signature settings, that regular members currently can't use because they can't edit their signatures. Something else to yell at Invision for, that we can't do anything about, other than, as uNi already did, toggling it for you.
