Doomsday Heist Setup?

Hey everyone, not sure if this is the right place for this, but one of my Daily Objectives is to Complete a Doomsday Heist Setup. So I went to my new facility and took the mission where you have to steal 4 Deluxos at Lester's behest. I finished it but didn't get credit in my objectives. Now I am very new to GTAO, so is it because I may be confusing a prep mission with a setup? If so, how do I get this Objective done? Thanks!

Indeed, you're confusing a prep with a setup there. The setups are the jobs from the facility you can do after preps.

So I guess the real question is how many prep missions do I have to do to access the setups? Man, this game is very confusing sometimes. I did two already, but I don't know how many more there are, so I can see if its worth it to worry about this objective.

You can do the setup that you've already done the prep for. That Deluxo one for example. No need to do more than the one prep to get that setup available.

Thanks for the answer! Sorry if this is dumb, but can you please clarify that for me? I am very new to Heist Prep and Heists themselves. I will go back to my facility in the meantime and see if there is a Setup Mission waiting for me there.

No problem. As you've stolen the 4 deluxo's, it should now allow you do do the Deluxo setup mission rather than do all other preps.

You have two columns on the screen in your facility. The ones on the left are the preps, the ones on the right are the setups. They are connected to each other. So the top prep mission (left column) is to unlock the top setup mission (right column). Once you have completed the prep, the setup will be available to play.
