berkayfeci
Hello, i'm gonna start playing this game soon so would you tell me if there are any performance improvement with patches? If there isn't much of an update i will play the game without patches since appearently graphics, lighting, AO etc. are better even if there are bugs. I won't play online. DanceKino
Performance might be sliiighty (like 5% or such) better on the Patched game and you have overall more 'content' like Photo Mode, few extra bounties, few extra hideouts, few extra horses, few extra guns and a new stranger mission, but it also has noticeably worse and more 'fake' graphics with patches as well as missing objects (Seamus's table in Emerald Ranch for example). The last two chapters of the game however were HUGELY DownGraded and are a complete glitchfest now with DownGraded models and tons of odd glitches in the Patched game. So I'd say make a choice: 1. Do you want some extra content like Photo Mode and such in your game with Just a little bit better peformance with DownGraded graphics and glitchy EndGame? - Play Patched. 2. Do you want the best possible graphics out of console version with some glitches (mostly good, such as Early New Austin access glitch, Gold Bar glitch and Get any horse glitch, all of which are 'fixed' in the Patched game) and nearly perfect EndGame? - Play UnPatched 1.00. Calrid123
Sadly this is probably not the best time to start playing as RS* haven't produced any new content really since the moonshiners which was 8 monthsish ago. Although unsurprisingly it was never a welcoming neighbourhood to play in, the players that do still hang around and especially high level ones for the most part are ok but there is a a sad minority of players who have turned what was a very hard game to grief in (almost impossible in fact) one where it is common place, seemingly while the cats away and all that many seem to think this is an excuse to generally abuse new players, where as such behaviour was usual before there seems to be a a widespread lack of concern for any player doing anything (and bewilderingly just harassing players for sh*ts and giggles instead of with some purpose) and it's all gone even more to anarchy. There's still some fun to be had, and its got a reasonable amount of players (some of which aren't total dicks) but it's dying and feels left out in the cold atm and I sort of even can't rebuke players for acting out even, even if it is sad to see and pretty childish. And yes the standards for greifing in what was an ungreifable game are pretty impressively low trust me,. we're not talking about hijinks with lassos and what not I mean genuinely persistent abbusive and disruptive behaviour is far more common place. Like i said i won't play online, only the single player. Looks like i'm sticking to the base game.
SneakyDeaky
If you can find a way to play 1.02, I would. It's slightly more stable than 1.00, less bugs, but it's also the patch where Rockstar started to really screw with John's appearance.
LorshZontek
I would probably just stick with 1.00 even with the new content added as it is more polished in someways, if i had the choice i would go for 1.01 or 1.02 if it were possible to play them versions as they are more polished then 1.00 in someways but 1.00 should be fine enough if you want a game that is less buggy and has better graphics
