Updated the download (should be the last time):

- Fixed Assault Rifle finger bug (due to me using ped model for preview in 3dsMax instead of Player);

- Restored PC Uzi & SMG animations (minus PC SMG crouch reload which didn't have a sound);

- Added TLAD's shotgun anims.

Can we have revolver animation

I did something to desert eagle animation and changed the reload animation, but don't look realistic

Updated download:
- Fixed Assault Rifles & Street Sweeper using Sniper Rifle reload sounds;

- Swapped weird IV Sniper reload animation for the unused normal one.

That's a great job, guys! Maybe it's just me, but I still feels that tap-firing with AK-47/M4 is weird.

Yeah, it's not as smooth animation wise, but it's at least consistent with everything else.

Update: Split Rifles (+ Assault) & Shotgun anims into 2 versions (IV & TLAD) because their holster/unholster animations didn't match their character specific idle animations (minor but was pointed out by a user so I fixed it) + some misc changes.

Edit: Can you fix the golden uzi rate of fire in vehicle just like you did for the mp5?

I know it's not useful, but it would be nice if you could bring back Niko's throwing money animation for homeless from consoles as on PC it doesn't work and all that happens is Niko's wallet disappearing some money.

Removed the fire rate multiplier in weaponinfo.xml, you can restore it.

Does TBOGT have different animations for weapons like TLAD? If so, can you also do the same for TBOGT weapons too?

Hi, is it possible to port over all the weapon anims from the console version into the PC version? I kind of want just the console version just because of the recoil animation, but I feel as if the new anim is just too fast. Or is it just me?

B Dwag, Brother I have downloaded this mod but didn't understand this line of installation, "delete the files from DLCs so they don't override it or put them in there too". Would you please explain me what to do?

Some animations are for both IV and TLAD (ones that aren't in the TLAD folder) so you'd want to delete the original TLAD animations to not override the mod ones.

Hello, man! I've recently run into your post, and I'd like to try the improved animations to fully appreciate your work. The only thing is, I can't open the anim.img file in the anim folder to place your files there. Should I use some program for that? I read a bit about img. files, people say they can be opened with progs like 7zip but this one doesn't work for me. Windows opens iso. files for me easily by deafult, I get it that iso. and img. are similar file formats. What did you and those who installed this mod use to work with anim.img?

Use OpenIV to open .IMG files. From there, you can drop files inside those file formats.

Guys, do the animations work only for IV and TLAD or for TBOGT too? I replaced the original files in IV and TLAD folders but I have no idea whether they work with TBOGT... If they do, should I replace the original animation files and Weaponinfo in TBOGT too?

The animations for IV will work for both EFLC episodes. If for some reason doesn't work, just drag and drop them into their anim.img.

 

Don't replace Weaponinfo.xml, the ones found in both TLAD & TBoGT are the data needed for the EFLC weapons to function. Only replace it if the mod comes with it for their respective episode.

The thing is like this: in the downloaded archive there's a folder with animations and a WeaponInfo file. I assumed it's all most likely intended for the original IV, so I placed them in the respective folders for GTA IV. 

In this folder there's a subfolder "TLAD", as well with animations and a WeaponInfo file. I placed them into the respective TLAD folders (haven't checked properly yet, though, but they seem to be working as at least the rifle animation in TLAD works properly now).

The question is, which set of animations and a WeaponInfo file do I use for TBOGT? As I understand from your response, I can use the animations from the downloaded folder, not from the "TLAD" folder, which is quite logical. But what about WeaponInfo? Shall I leave the one that is originally in the TBOGT folder without replacing it, but replace the animations?
