B Dawg
After being unable to find beard mods for Johnny up to my quality standards (over the years I've become a graphics whore when it came to texture quality), I decided to make my own. I took the beard from the IV Multiplayer model, and with some position & scale changing, and fixing the weight painting being applied on the wrong bones, successfully applied it on the Player version of Johnny K (the ped version didn't require any changes in regards to weights/bones). Preview: (slighty oddity at 0:05 but I haven't noticed anything similar during gameplay or in other cutscenes, but I've only watched one other, and this is as good as it can be afaik) Download Future plans are writing a tutorial for this if anyone wants to apply ped beards and maybe even hairstyles to player characters and I plan on giving beards to other characters as well (maybe Terry & Clay). @iiCriminnaaL 49 @Niobium Edited July 13, 2020 by B Dawg C1aude_III, iiCriminnaaL, Zhunter 96 and 5 others

iiCriminnaaL
That's amazing! I've been looking for a proper beard (and gloves ) model for Johnny for quite a long time. Nice work, man . My workshop of modifications

B Dawg
The tutorial is done, hopefully in-depth enough and didn't forget anything. Niobium and iiCriminnaaL
B Dawg
Updated the download with a new version. It now lines up with his face better (doesn't go all the way to his ear), and there shouldn't be any see-through angles from the back/side anymore. Also here's a WIP pic of Terry: Jeansowaty, iiCriminnaaL and BadaBing_1996
iiCriminnaaL
By the way, did you consider implementing a full beard to Johnny? I don't know how it would look on him, but I bit it'd fit him pretty well (as did the horseshoe mustache). Also, I don't know if it's easy to make, but some tiny, faded gaps (smaller than those in the borders) inside the beard will make it look somewhat more natural, like Billy's beard for example. B Dawg
Nope, but I am considering a full beard for Terry though (even if it ends up being 2 separate components like suse and suse2, to recreate his artwork beard). Speaking of which, not sure if I should keep it black, or take the blonde texture and then fade the color out a bit to match his hair color (or maybe the below mentioned method will help with that). It's a good idea. I could do that by messing with the alpha channel I guess. I didn't do exactly what you said (didn't really understand what you meant the first time I read it and I'm not sure if I could do that properly) but I did mess with it so that the beard looks a tiny bit faded out in general by decreasing the alpha brightness by -50, making it more similar to all the other beards (since it used to be full white inside the borders and had no transparency). Think that's good enough? Edited July 20, 2020 by B Dawg iiCriminnaaL, Jeansowaty and BadaBing_1996
iiCriminnaaL
Well, yeah, that looks even better. I guess the one on the right fits Johnny a little bit better too, even though both are decent either way. My workshop of modifications
