Can i have 2 gta online profiles on different consoles but on the same xbox live account

Hey,

So my brother has an xbox one. I have an xbox 360. He plays gta online on his xbox one with his xbox live gold account. If I then sign into his xbox live account on my xbox 360 and play gta online, what will happen? Will he lose his progress on gta online on the xbox one? Will we have seperate gta online accounts that we can play as if they were on different xbox live accounts? Will we have a shared gta online account? Will he have to start again?

gta online accounts are completely isolated cases on every platform, the only way they could have been connected was by character transfer, which was discontinued a couple of years ago now

Not sure if you can both play at the same time. That depends whether Xbox live allows 2 machines to play at the same time, and whether Rockstar allows it too.

Your characters are on different platforms though, so playing one does not affect the other.

If you log in to his profile on 360 you will have to start a new game and create your own character. It will basically be like having 2 seperate accounts but he will get whatever achievements you unlock. Nothing you do will affect his game and nothing he does will affect your game.

Whenever you log in to a different machine Xbox signs you out of the other machine you were logged in to. Really sucks if you are playing online and someone logs in to your account on a different Xbox.
