Guest
What if Rockstar is adding Vulkan api support to GTA V after 5 years? I am deeply worried about this because I don't even have a dx11 gpu in my laptop. What if GTA V becomes the benchmark in gaming after RDR 2 and Crysis? Will Rockstar remove support for dx10 and dx11 as well? Post your thoughts people. And think about it.

Because the work is already done for those API's, adding MORE API's doesn't render the older ones worthless, it just means there may be some graphical effects that will only be available on the newer API's. for example with Tesselation that's built into the game, if you use DirectX 10 (and not 10.1 or higher), the game will just ignore the flags for that effect and it will be disabled in the options if you're using that mode. Guest
Thanks for the info. I just hope Rockstar doesn't change the game too much. That's it.
