GazChap Posted May 10, 2003 Share Posted May 10, 2003 Hi all, I wrote a little utility ages ago for the original GTA3 PC that randomized the MP3 player radio station (it played in alphabetical order, which most thought was a bit crap) Well I've got it on good authority (and I'll be able to confirm it myself when the game gets a UK release next Friday! that VC PC uses the same system for MP3s, and also plays alphabetically - which means that the randomizer is 100% compatible with VC! It works by adding a random number to the start of each filename in your mp3 folder. Can i put your randomizer up in the downloads archive at Codename: Vice City once ive reorganised the categories for the oncoming demand please? Yeah, sure. Please use a link to http://www.gazchap.com/download.php?id=18 rather than sticking the file on your site manually. This link will automatically download the file for any visitor, and also allows me to keep track of how many people download. Question - because of the nature of this spyware (keystroke recorder, which could record credit card numbers, passwords, and all sorts of things), would an e-mail to the FBI be in order?
