walidtou Posted July 9, 2020 Share Posted July 9, 2020 hello all if we talk really in gta online must return some old cars in gta series like idaho this car only in 3d gta games exept san andreas this car is good design in 3d gta games and i want the car return to gta 5 ,also supergt the fast car i think in gta iv not available in gta 5 and more old cars esperanto,perennial,tahoma,majestic,euros,uranus,cadronna.... any one of this cars come to gta online in this update soon or other updates later ? Vehicles from gta 4 is probably impossible at this point. The difference in polygon count is too large. The Esperanto, Manana, Willard, Emperor, Hakumai, Feroci, Virgo, and Regina being particularly standout examples. They actually lowered the poly count on a lot of cars for OG GTA 5 in 2013. Compare the Emperor to say the Emerus. The Emperor looks like a current gen car and the Emerus looks like it’s from a game from 2009. Were you watching my GTA Vice City stream or something? Only did it a couple of days ago and I literally mentioned the Idaho as being one of the few vehicles that never made it into another game since Vice City (it was in GTA 3 but not SA). what are the chances! Interesting, i would like to see how the cars you listed would compare to something like the paragon R or the S80RR, which are pretty complex in their design for different reasons. They toned it down a lot on the updated rerelease because of First Person. Old damage would case a lot of clipping and weird camera positions in FP, and R* hates clipping. They most likely lowered poly counts to save on disc space and speed up loading times. 5 is massive compared to 4, I think something like 6x more code. Every little bit helps.
