Car selection not working in races

Lately I’ve had sporadic problems in races where I’ll confirm a car and I’ll just start with whatever was the first option. Almost like I never hit confirm. It seems to happen most frequently in “trend setting” but I’ve seen it elsewhere, also in stunt races. Anybody seen this?

This is a bug that happens from time to time.

 

Usually if you don't see the green "Confirmed" box on the car selection screen it will pick a random car when the race starts so I always make sure to select the car first and then quickly press X to confirm, you should then proceed to seeing your character waiting for the race to start and make sure to select Ready! s if you're just sat on the first/seconds screen waiting nothing will be as you selected!

That’s how I always go into races and it’s never happened before. I submitted a ticket and they told me to power off for 30 seconds then hold l1 and r1 to do a reset. I’ll update if it persists after that.
