Currently enjoying big shootouts with my dual Semi-Auto Pistols. Been rocking a single handgun for a while but bought a second one with the discount. Nothing is as gangsta as rocking twin handguns. R* shafted themselves by having Collector be so profitable and letting us earn Gold via normal play, coupled with the fact that content is so far and few between so even the casual player can amass vast amounts of money there is no need (in their eyes) to make bonus payouts but they need to double something because its expected so XP every week it is. kcole4001 Posted July 9, 2020 Share Posted July 9, 2020 (edited) To be quite honest if there were no dailies to earn gold, I wouldn't have bought the game. It is literally as simple as that. I had about a year of watching others play the game before PC release, so it was clear that gold was going to crucial if you want to buy in to further content, and if they left it down to stranger missions and showdowns/races to make gold, there's no way anyone could get enough without it becoming like doing crates in GTA, unless you become one of the AFK zombies who are logged in to races all day every single day. The fact that daily challenges are so much more accessible and varied compared to the piddly GTA ones is what really sold me on the game. Given the fact that the map is beautiful and the setting is pretty unique, it boils down to the ease of money making over time, and particularly the ability to do it at your own pace. I'm done with grinding anything, the closest I came was doing bounties for the unlocks. Glad it's over, I've still only done a little under 300 bounties total. When trader or shine feels like a grind I just ignore it. I'll do easy quick dailies, then whatever I want, when I want. I always rocked twins starting with the sawed off, but I started liking the navy revolver especially with the ability cards. Now I'm rocking twin revolvers now. Now I'm rocking twin revolvers now. I rocked the LeMat and the original Cattleman for a long time but the ammo count used to annoy me as one would go dry before the other. Then we got the ability to remove the off hand holster so I rocked my LeMat single until I bought the Weapon Locker and I could remove all the weapons so I could wear a second holster to pin my coats back but only have one handgun. Bought the S-AP when handguns were on sale and a second one the other week. Both are about fifteen gold deep in custom.
