ddarko12
So I'm new to the whole PC scene with GTA V and modding and I've installed quite a few lore friendly cars over the past few days. I probably have about 30 of them installed (most from VanillaWorks). Well I went and downloaded the Rapid GT Classic Convertible and it worked fine. I wanted to make a twin spec of the original and as soon as I clicked on the option to change its wheels via Menyoo, the game frooze and I got an exception error from ScripthookV. Come to find out it's a modkit conflict issue. Well. I went to trouble shoot the carvariation/carcols.meta files and found nothing that shouldve confliced with the original rapidgt3's modkit ID. I even pulled all custom vehicles from my plugins and the Rapid GT still had no options and wouldnt let me change its wheels via Menyoo. I'm at a bit of a loss. I'm kind of thankful there is a Rapid GT Classic convertible because that's the only one I can mod and drive it seems. This is not a problem with any other vanilla car, Just the Rapid GT Classic and I'm just confused. There's only 5 mod options for it in LSC and barely any in Menyoo and again, selection any wheels will crash the Menyoo. Anybody else experience this or know how I should go about fixing it? LeeC22
If you need help with a specific mod, then you need to provide a link to that mod.

First of all, it's a vanilla car. How do I provide a link to a vanilla car? Here it is: ... In my post already I said I already looked at the carcol/carvariation.meta files of all of my addon cars and see no reason for any of them to conflict with the Rapid GT Classic's. And yet I still cannot seem to mod the car. The vanilla car. I have 0 problems with modding any of my addon cars... Here it is: Does the Rapid GT Classic let you change the wheels without the Rapid GT Convertible (or any other addons) installed, yes or no? If the answer is no, then the problem is a vanilla car problem. If the answer is yes, then it's possibly a problem caused by the convertible. I can change wheels on the Rapid GT Classic with no problems and I don't have that convertible installed. Either way, if someone is willing to try and help, they're going to need to check the convertible to see if there are any aspects of it that might be causing a conflict. Ergo... they're going to need a link to the mod... But hey, don't take my word for it... I've only been modding the game since 2015 and just happen to be someone who helped test that convertible and provide the main screenshot. Your choice, I'm just offering advice... take it or leave it. I mean, it's not as if they are both using the same ModKit ID of 101 now is it... <kitName>260_rapidgt3_modkit</kitName> <id value="101" /> <kitType>MKT_SPECIAL</kitType> <kitName>269_rapidgt4_modkit</kitName> <id value="101" /> <kitType>MKT_SPECIAL</kitType> Have you tried changing the ID of the addon? Here's a clue... the Rapid GT Classic has 5 spoiler options when no addon is installed. The Rapid GT Classic has zero spoiler options when the addon is installed. What does that mean? It means the addon has taken over the ID, removing any and all mod options from the vanilla car. If you want to play the "First of all..." card on someone, make sure it's justified and correct to do so. Edited July 6, 2020 by LeeC22

And if you've done work for that mod why would you need the link when you could've just googled it? You didn't specify which car to link. Had you asked nicely I would've provided it but clearly you wanna be like that so whatever.
