Personally I respect rockstar and love GTA but I’m quiet displeased with how the mk2 oppressor missiles only allow me to shoot 20 times per run then I have to respawn the vehicle to re-up on the missiles. And having to imagine what I spent for the vehicle as well as the terrobyte just to customize it. It is quiet disappointing! At least it would have been nice if the missiles where unlimited.

LOL, I am quite looking forward to seeing how this thread goes.

But no the Oppressor only has 20 missiles to attempt but fail to balance it out a bit, I would argue that it should not even have that many missiles. Or even exist to be honest.

The Oppressor Mk2 can have unlimited ammunition when the missiles are replaced by non-tracking rockets with slow reload times after firing each. 

Or it can be removed from the game. 

Probably easier to implement that second option... and it would be a more popular change to the world of Online. 

 

Sorry, 'Savage2ruthless' - you are welcome to your opinion (and you'll get agreement on your thoughts about the paywall to get the Broomstick OP2 being very high), but many people on the forum aren't a fan of the machine.

Yeah unlimited missiles. Even better, make it tank 30 explosions. Give it a bubble shield that makes it bullet proof. A cloaking device that makes it invisible, and double the speed. Yeah yeah yeah, this all is great.

Thats the Mk 3 confirmed for the next update, Does the bubble shield reflect things back towards the attacker? because the one thing it needs is a defence against things like the alien boopy gun.

Also why not replace its standard guns with the ones from a Hydra?

Yeeeeaaaaah ok ok and once it's exploded, another one immediately manifests itself between your legs, and injects you with bst for 1 hour.

Welcome to the forum,

I kinda feel a little guilty now I see this is your first post and you were not to know the general feelings about this vehicle.

I hope you are not taking our comments to seriously I do not think anyone means to cause offence, and hope you will still contribute in the future.

But most people would like to see some serious nerf's to the hateful machine it is undeniably OP and it certainly does not need to be buffed.

 

It could be free and I still would not have one.

But as much as I hate it, I have to admit it is probably the most versatile vehicle in the game and it is stupidly easy to use,

If used productively and not to grief other players it can help you earn lots of money back, with this in mind it is very cheap compared to many other things.

Also the terrobyte and nightclub have more uses other than just housing the Oppressor mk2 I would not count those as costs. As over time they will pay for themselves.

 

The original Oppressor for example you had to buy a Bunker, buy the Bike, Buy a MOC if you wanted to upgrade it, and if you wanted to upgrade to missiles you would have to grind the lootbox like research system or pay to fast track it.

 

The Lazer fighter jet, you could spend 6+ million on something we have been stealing for free since 2013.

 

Or you could buy a Gold private Jet for 10 million.

 

Or you can blow someone up with your orbital satillite for 500k a time plus whatever the facility and orbital strike room cost in the first place.

 

I guess you are a newish player but.

GTA online = A Paywall on nearly everything. I fear that if you are disappointed with the cost of the OP mk2 you will have plenty more disappointment to come.

But be sensible and try to be productive when you play and you can earn a lot of cash.

Op sh*t has been in videogames since the dawn of time. Noobtubes, Sagat, McLaren F1s in N500 Class, this piece of sh*t. Op should know this thing is grief-mobile 4.0, adding something stupid like this is just overkill.

 

Here's another suggestion add a portable Orbital Canon to obliterate anyone that looks at you

I know I will get obliterated for saying this.. but in my opinion Oppressor MK2 is a really good vehicle for new grinders. I personally like grinding in warehouse cargo and this thing cuts my cargo source time in half. Even against Buzzerd which I think is second best for grinding cargo, MK2 is better and faster. And there are a lot of other OP vehicles that makes the game unfair on many occassion.. but that falls on players first, not vehicles or equipments. If someone is hellbent on disturbing and disrupting others, they will do so by any means. Oppressor MK2 is just the newest addition to their arsenal.

 

So in my opinion complaining about MK2 is useless as Rockstar is not likely to remove this vehicle because some people use it wrong. Instead rockstar should actively seek-out and punish the griefers who make this vehicle so traumatising.

It would still be great for grinding if it didn't have missiles.

 

In fact, if I could call my Havok through the MC menu or store it in my Terrorbyte, I would prefer that.

Honestly if this thing just flew and had the ability to be a passive flyer with maybe even flares to defend yourself from rockets, I would probably own 6 of them so I can keep calling it out every time one blew up... I need a quick none threatening way to go from LSIA to Paleto...

No one is saying it is not usefull for grinding, I said myself in a earlier post that it was probably the most versitile vehicle you can buy.

I guess one more reason I do not like it is because it destroys any realism the game once had. ok I'm not going to argue that any GTA game has been fully realistic but there are limits.

And to grief with other vehicles like jets takes a bit of skill and the risk you will f it up and end up crashing into a building.

But the fact that a 2 year old can fly a oppressor without fear of crashing, falling off or any issues with pilot error is what makes it OP. It also makes it sound very boring to use in my opinion.

I'm just wondering if the oppressor mk 1 with a very very skilled rider would actually be faster than the mk 2 for freemode collecting stuff?

It certainly would be a lot more fun thats for sure.

Even though i own one, i just wish this vehicle removed entirely from the game.

 

why? it ruined the vehicle variety, the game itself has many war helicopters and planes even land vehicles only to be outgunned by this stupid OP bike.

Really? R* employee who invented this bike either dont have common sense or just pure stupid.

the game now felt like a science fiction.

You're entitled to your opinion, but it doesn't mean your opinion can't be wrong.

 

The Mk2 definitely doesn't need the OP missiles it has with near perfect tracking against pretty much 99% of the vehicles in the game.

 

20 missiles of those are too much, it shouldn't have more than 4...Or at least their tracking should be nerfed.

The Alpha Z-1 or Howard NX-25 would fulfill these requirements... almost impossible to get shot down in. But of course they're not as easy to call as the Mk II.

Today, I took out a guy on his Mk2 and decided to take off in it, only to realise that he only had the machine guns installed, not even the explosive MG. I completely forgot the Mk2 comes with the peashooters by default.

 

Maybe that's the only weapon it should have had, like the Ardent and Nightshark.

So Rockstar if you are reading this, give us "the real players" something we can actually utilize, call out super easy and that doesnt cause hell everytime you spawn one. I want a vehicle that I spawn and Try Hard Iilililililililili-ilili (barcode) doesnt run over to me to blow up the second he see's it, instead he lets me go because its not worth his time..

My biggest grievance with the mk2 is how unskilled the pilot/rider need be dominate the lobby.

 

i remember the buzzard pilots years ago, the ones who used the guns, flying in circles around targets but keeping the guns spot on the target.  That took a lot of practice to achieve that skill. 
 

the laser/hydra jockeys that do ground attack, some of whom can be somewhat annoying, but the saving grace is the time they spent honing the flying skill, and that there won’t be one in the next lobby.

 

the mk2, you could damn near rubber band the controller and go make a brew and still take down everyone that comes near.

 

it gives clueless unskilled kids the opportunity to bypass any learning curve and because it’s potentially so dominant from the off,  it’s the only vehicle they need

That's the thing. Even free aiming with this thing doesn't take very long to master. ANYONE can master this thing if they used it enough for a short period of time. Like, literally, it's now come to the point where I'm seeing level 70s dominating with this thing.

 

They charge at you and take you out with free aim, and they're not even rank 100 yet. Sure, they could be a second character, but they seem to play like a casual on ground, which leads me to believe that they're not a second character. 

 

And the fact that it's not even level locked makes me think I'm in a dream or in a parallel universe where logic doesn't exist at all. So a rank 10 can have access to this OP unskilled garbage just by buying a skunk card. Of course, filling C*'s pockets even more. 

 

Absolutely ridiculous to the max.
