Let’s start off with the reasoning as to why GTAV had been re-released, and as for why GTAV and GTAO are being sold as separate titles according to my friend Lee. GTAV for PlayStation 5 is more so of an experimental prototype for the “Part 2” of GTA6’s online experience. By combining the Liberty City map to the Los Santos map of GTAV, they’ll be completing the “Part 1” of GTAV’s online experience. The reason as to why Vice City will not be implemented in the realm of GTAV, is because it is being reserved for the online experience of GTA6, to then be eventually merged with “Part 1” and “Part 2.” In other words, or in simpler terms, GTAV Online and GTAVI online are to be merged into one, giving the player complete access to Los Santos, Liberty City, and then eventually Vice City all in one package, which explains why GTAV must be separated from its online segment. Questions I have asked Lee: Q. Is North Yankton a possibility? A. Unbeknownst to me. It may, or may not be, but LC is a priority. Q. Is PS4 and Xbone being excluded due to hardware capability issues? A. Yes. This also answers as to why Ps3 and 360 had never had the First Person Perspective feature implemented. Both generations of hardware satisfied a criteria in particular, and what PS5 and XSX will do is satisfy the aforementioned. Q. Theoretically speaking, if both online portions are merged, will ranks, stats, and suchlike be transferred? A. Not that I know of. Most likely not. That is all I have.
