RocketDamnMan
Hello, i just registered into gta forums. I already made 3 storylines and 2 missions on the official site of DYOM...I decided to promote my missions here a bit! I will release one storyline here. San Andreas at War Story You Play as Richard, a anti-terrorist agency member. A civil war starts in San Andreas. Some people say that somebody started the fight. So thats why you need to find that man, get the evidence and show it to people. But you will need to do it quickly, because towns are delivering attack to each other and many people are dying because of that. The 4 chapter is still work in progress. When i finish making it i will release the whole thing! Thunder0515
Hey! I saw this mission, so I decided to review the entirety of act 1.Introduction: Difficulty: 4/10. Cops carry pistols, while county men carried shotguns. (the lesser, the easier.) Plot: 6/10. As an introduction, this one is very important. It's not the most realistic one, as cities can't go to war, but it's an interesting one, I'll give it that. (the lesser, the worser.) Atmosphere: 5/10. It was just sunny with some objects placed, Los Santos just went to war, so yeah. (the lesser the worse.r) Variety: 6/10. There were police men with county men which had different skins. Weapon diversity is not the best, but it's alright for a beginning. (the lesser the worser.) Directing the player: 10/10. I had the idea where to go all the time. (the lesser the worse) I liked the introduction as a, well, introduction to the MP.Wrecking the LSPD part 1: Difficulty: Impossible due to a bug (Hide the transport the player's inside before teleporting them.) Plot: Unknown due to the bug Atmosphere: 7/10. Feels like a military preparation, which it is. Variety: Unknown due to the bug Directing the player: 7/10. In order to take off with the helicopter in the beginning, you have to break a pole. Then you have to fly in a 'corona', which is actually a checkpoint. fix plsWrecking the LSPD part 2: Difficulty: 6/10. There are FBI and SWAT members with MP5s, cops with pistols, one with a nightstick, a guy with an AK. They all have 100 or 250 health and some have headshots off. And then we switch to CJ. +3 points for 500 health no headshots M4 wielding SWAT members. Unfortunately, there's a shotgun with 500 ammo in the showers which makes the mission 100x easier. Plot: 7/10. Pretty simple. I thought. And then Carl Johnson appeared. Atmosphere: 5/10. Feels a bit bland and there are literal army soldiers being inside the police department headquarters in the first 20 minutes of war. However, an additional point for CJ speaking gangsta tongue; we also switch to CJ. Variety: 8/10. FBI units, police (including SF ones) units and SWAT members are pretty cool. Weapon diversity is nice, too. DIrecting the player: 8/10. It's great and all, until you come out of the jail blocks as CJ and it forces you to go back. I was confused. Nice work! But, when you switch to CJ, you could've put a hide weapons trigger or make it so CJ picks up the dead soldier's guns.Warfare Difficulty: 4/10. 500 health SWAT members with MP5s, but this time with headshots on. And lots of cover. And then you get a minigun. Just kidding, it doesn't have any aim zoom in it, so I didn't use it. Also, it doesn't hide the previous enemies you didn't have to kill, which makes them be selected from the 'Kill all enemies' objective later on. Had to teleport there and back just to enjoy this mission. 2 points just for this. Plot: 3/10. Just throwing a player into a skin of an FBI guy isn't cool. Wait, he's the main character, uh-oh. Atmosphere: 5/10. Riot mode makes it nice, makes me think that people are having their own wars. Until it breaks with a random stealth sequence without guards. Variety: 4/10. Bland SWAT with the same weapons. Diversify them with some shotguns or pistols. Directing the player: 7/10. In short: Me: Oh, I have to go there? Alrigh- AAAAH I'M SHOT AT! Although, thanks for telling me to go backwards. I did not see the way.Ganton War Difficulty: 8/10. It skyrockets. Do not ever use attack player for a driver actor, or else they will just ram the player and even trap them under the car and the player will die. However, if you stay up there and focus on destroying the cars, allies will die and it will cause a game over! Crap. I'll just skip over this one. Plot: 5/10. Stop changing the characters for 5 minutes! Atmosphere: 8/10. Really makes me think of a war happening. Foggy, rainy weather makes it seem like Los Santos is losing due to its sad tone. Variety: 7/10. I like the use of objects and the variety in the GSF skins and weapons. The gameplay also varies quite nicely until I died to a car. Also, it's kind of cool that Big Smoke uses his vest. Directing the player: 10/10. You don't really have to go anywhere.Perfect time for payback Difficulty: 9/10. Do not spawn 100 enemies and give a player a 250 health car. That thing explodes on a slightest bop. Also, more drivers. Nobody likes them. Although, this time they just chase you. Props for that. Plot: 5/10 Atmosphere: 4/10. Yay, riot mode! That's the only good thing apart from 1000 enemies. Variety: 3/10. Object variety is the only good thing. Directing the player: 3/10. I found like 10 different ways to get in the airport, and the intended way was to jump on 2 broken soda machines to climb over. Also, why is theRESULTS AVERAGE SCORES WILL BE SHOWN Difficulty: 5/10. Do not give the player a f*ck ton of ammo. That is not how it should work. Add gun pickups to make the player not stand still or crouch spam at enemies. Plot: 4/10. Interesting plot, but it averages out to 4. Again ,not the most immersive one. Atmosphere: 6/10. I liked the atmosphere in several missions, so it makes sense why it's 6. Variety: 5/10. There were good and bad variety of skins, but there were always bad varieties of weapons for enemies. Directing the player: 8/10. Overall, a good job directing the player outside of like 1 or 2 missions. Verdict:Surprisingly well done for an act 1! Upgrade some points and it will be great! Sorry For the kinda late reply, i took a big break from DYOM. Thanks for the rating and i know it isnt too good but eh i got some kind of excuse that this was my third mission pack ever. There was supposed to be a extra mission in act 1 but i accidently saved over it so it was gone and the next day i completely forgot about it and just put act 1 as finished. It was a plot mission which i worked pretty hard on but not a action mission. Other missions from other acts should be a bit better. Thanks for the feedback!
