Do all properties have missions with them?

I've bought properties like Malibu, Print Works, Boatyard, Film Studio etc. but I have bought any of the cheaper houses that are just a house and garage.  

 

Do these have missions aswell or are they just a save point?

Properties

Properties are distinct because they allow you to save your game. Some properties, like Hyman Condos, also let you save vehicles.

 

Assets

Assets are parts of Properties, but are different - they require you to perform missions, or tasks, in order to start making money from them. All assets include a save spot. Here's a short list of large assets:

 

~ Pole Position:

You have to spend something like 600 dollars on the backroom stripper.

~ Vercetti Estate:

You need to complete "Shakedown" in order to start making money. You get control of the house itself after you kill Diaz.

~ Print Works:

After you get the cash, you buy this place. You'll then perform several tasks that lead to the climax of the game story line.

~ Film studio:

Prepare for a movie by recruiting actors, advertising and soforth. You also get access to the Skimmer after one mission.

~ Sunshine Autos:

Complete the A&B Auto car lists to increase the funds you get from this asset.

~ CherryPoppers:

You have to do a number of consecutive sales without leaving the van.

~ Malibu:

The most expensive asset. Many difficult missions here, and you get to perform "The Job" at the end - a fun mission that results in you having the ever-so-popular Jason costume.

~ Boatyard:

Complete "Checkpoint Charlie".

~ Kaufman Cabs:

Several tasks need to be performed to rake in the cash for this asset.
