I've caught many of these huge fish, channel catfish, longnose gar and such... and the description always talks about how delicious their meat is... but I've no idea how to break them down to get meat FROM them... Ahh, got this from a Redditt post though... You put the large fish on your horse, mount your horse, open your satchel, go to horse storage tab then break down just like you would a small fish in the materials section of your satchel. ...might work. If I shoot a 3 star deer, and it doesn't die right away, is there a way to finish it off that doesn't reduce its quality? I usually just stay around and pick herbs, or clean my guns. It doesn't take long. My behavior in the game looks like a "Sweet & Harmless Barbie Princess in the ugly wild west" simulator. But I just don't like to read a "lower honor" message from Rockstar if I fail an One-shoot against a three-star animal. Who could be frightened of this kind of character? So sweet! I'm on the PS4 at present trying this; the only options I get with the satchel open on my horse at 'horse cargo' is to either go back ⏺ or discard unfortunately. Buddy Hightower Posted July 2, 2020 Share Posted July 2, 2020 I caught a 19 pound poisoned giant sturgeon last night at large pond/lake in St Denis where Arthur controls that remote boat in story-mode.
