vordhosbn Posted June 30, 2020 Share Posted June 30, 2020 (edited) I downloaded the free version of this last week and I've been able to run it fine, but I'm having a right job here trying to get widescreen working. I wanted widescreen because the camera didn't zoom out far enough before so it was too easy to crash into cars ahead of you because they were off screen. I've been fiddling about with so many settings and tried so many different fixes that I'm starting to go a little crazy, so if anyone can help me out I'd REALLY be very grateful. I just want to be able to play the game with custom key settings, steady 35fps, widescreen and as close to my native resolution (1800x1200) as possible. I can get custom key settings and decent frame rate, but I can only launch the game in 640x480, and nothing I do gets widescreen working. Using ThirteenAG's patch did help with the zoom out, but I then couldn't launch the game unless I ticked "start in 640x480" in compatability settings. With this, the game launched and the zoom was much better but still no widescreen. I don't know if it's just the Surface Go because none of the forum posts seem to have a problem getting widescreen to work.
