The option to join/Invite Friends isn't visible in GTA V Online Pc

Hello, i got GTA V from Epic Games store and me and my Friends completed the tutorial  we all play on the same platform and when i wen't to friends tab i can see them Online but i see show profile nothing else i have 3 friends we all have the same issue and i made a crew and  invited them and tried to join or invite them through crew members i see show profile only and i tried to enable UPNP and opened ports nothing works after some time i noticed that when my friend is opening the game from desktop till he reaches the menu and clicks on online in that moment i can only join him through our crew in crew members but if he joined the session  and i refreshed join option disappears .the only thing we can do is going to suggested crews and join them. i made contact with my ISP and he told me to give him ports that needs to be opened and i don't know them . i am sorry my English is bad i hope i can get help and thank u all .

Egypt has issues with GTA Online. 

 

I have a friend (from Egypt) who can only play with other people when he uses a VPN. No idea why that is specifically.

so there is nothing we can do ? using a VPN can get u banned .

Have you tried actually be in an online lobby or invite only/friend only session and then inviting your friends from there.

 

I am based in the UK so not really best placed but I do get that situation happen if friends are in Story mode or their own private GTA solo session but usually being in an online lobby before sending out the invites works, also it may be nothing but sometimes if you have your PSN profile set to show Offline this can cause problems with GTA Online and receiving invites as the game still has some bugs in this regard.

 

Otherwise only thing you can do is keep trying to connect or as your provider suggests advising the ports for GTA Online

GTA Online requires the following ports to be open:

• Port 6672 (UDP)
• Port 61455 (UDP)
• Port 61457 (UDP)
• Port 61456 (UDP)
• Port 61458 (UDP)
