CyborgZombieJesus
I've been playing for 7 yeas now and it always occurred to me that at least 10 of the turbines in the wind farm do not work. Was this ever discovered as part of any easter egg or trivia, secret etc. Maybe if viewed from the air would connecting them show a symbol or letters? Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/957774-ron-wind-farm-easter-egg-significance/ Share on other sites
Dock
If its not about mimicking real life wind-farms, then maybe it was designed that way for the Union Depository heist's loud approach. I doubt theres any hidden meaning behind it (though I do kinda recall there being some radio ad ingame that mentions shutting down renewable energy sources and switching to fossil fuels lol). billiejoearmstrong8 and CyborgZombieJesus 2 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/957774-ron-wind-farm-easter-egg-significance/#findComment-1071264031 Share on other sites
CyborgZombieJesus
Remind me again what the heist loud approach was and how it would pertain to the wind farm. Maybe you're right though. It could be just a touch of realism. Something that occurred to me in the last few hours was maybe its a safe route through the wind farm to help lose police choppers or chasing enemy NPC helos. Then its airlifted out of there by 2 helicopters. Merryweather gets wind and intercepts you in the air, so you pilot the choppers through the windfarm to try and destroy the attacking helis. billiejoearmstrong8
I think it's for realism that some wouldn't always be spinning, either because the wind isn't catching them or because they need fixing/maintenance. But yeah it could also be for that mission, it might make it an easier path to fly through. I don't think there's any message behind it.
