Apartments/Houses/Garages

I’m certain this has probably been answered before, but I am looking for the total number of apartments/houses/garages that can be owned at one time. I have googled and looked every and can’t get a straight answer. Most things I’ve seen says 6 total between apt/house/garage. But I only get the option for 3. I have one apartment, one garage and then gives me 1 empty slot. Any help would be appreciated and this is for Xbox One Thanks

If you buy a apt/house/garage the 1 empty slot basically means "add this one", while selecting one of the other slots would trade in the new property for the old one. The empty slot option will be there until you have 6 properties, after that you can only trade them in by selecting an old slot.

Includes all the business property garages but the first row of the table is homes/garages.

Last time someone asked this I had to boot up the game and check how many I had, so that I could give the correct answer.

So yeah no bad feelings, lots of people who have played since day one can not remember how many properties you can own.
