Arena War Garage regular car forced to have custom name

So I’ve finally rearranged my garages on my characters but unfortunately I’ve run into a very annoying bug where one of my non arena vehicles (8F Drafter) is stuck with the custom name for an arena vehicle...I’ve tried moving a different vehicle in and it was given the custom name...I sold it and moved the drafter back in but the bug persists.

 

Anyone have a fix my ocd is going crazy lol

 

i suppose this is a glitch some people like as you can name any car.

There was another thread along these lines a couple of months back. I remember telling a guy how to swap his names back around but that was where he had an arena car without a name still. If you have a car without a name you'd do best to swap them around like that and then rename the one with incorrect name.

 

However there is a way to clear the name I just cannot remember exactly how I did it. Was some combination of moving car with name to another garage, buying a free car into arena slot with stuck name, driving street car in over it and replace, destroy street car. Something like that did it but you need the floor full to get the correct slot.

 

It used to be easier when there was a prompt moving arena car to another garage will cause it to lose its name. For some reason they removed that prompt and the named slot remains in the arena.

I will try moving an arena car in and changing and then swapping...seems obvious 🤦‍♂️

Thing is you will always be stuck with a 'name' doing it like that. The game doesn't allow a empty name to remove it... So you can move 8f out into another garage, arena car into slot, change name, move arena car to another floor (it keeps name in there) move 8f back in (it wont have a name).

 

But really what you want is to clear the slot and name from it. It's the same except you use street cars to overwrite that slot and destroy them. I'm sure that's what I did because the only one I could never figure out how to change back was cerberus cos it doesn't allow any street vehicles to go in that slot and just selling the cerberus and rebuying as you found the slot still retains it's name

Ah okay so I should sell a cheapest car I own to make space then move the 8f out a street car in and then take it out and blow it up?

If you are full to capacity yeah I think you will have to. You need to get 8f out leave empty slot in arena. Any car you then put in there will have name. Drive street in, blow it up. Buy free car in see if it has name. If it still does drive street in over that, restart game then blow it up. Unless they have changed something again eventually you will get the name off the slot and can move 8f back in
