Still Double $$ and RP For VIP Missions?

Does anyone know why I'm still getting double money for VIP missions? My understanding is that you usually get $20K to about $25K for missions like Head Hunter and Sightseer. But I am still getting between $41K and $50K even though the special supposedly expired yesterday. Is something off with my game? I did 3 Head Hunter's about 2 hours ago and got paid between $40K and $50K for every one.

First of all, happy days and reap the rewards for as long as you can.

 

My understanding of this is that you haven't dashboarded your game since the promotion was active, nor rebooted your machine, and GTA has been running all that time, no doubt jumping between sessions.

Wow @Jenkiiii that's weird. I don't like the really long load screens for GTA V on the PS4, so I haven't force closed the game since I started playing it last week. But I don't understand why that would matter, because I do put my PS4 into "Rest Mode" which is like shutting it down only not a hard shutdown. So are you saying that this will continue for a while?

 

Also, can I get banned for that? It isn't like I was doing it intentionally, but if I start grinding them now that I know, then I can no longer make that argument. LMAO

Honestly, I don't know. I play on XB1 and I turn it off after every session to save energy, clear the cache, etc.

 

Perhaps someone else knows?

 

And no, you won't get banned. You are glitching the game at best, not modifying code or inserting your own variables.

Putting a PS4 in rest mode with the app running is like suspending the app and running they ps4 in low power. Closing the app and I think even joining a new session will update your tunables.

Nope. You have to join a new session when you come out of rest mode, and the tunables don't change. It's how people hold on to snow etc.. Of course the game will crash after a while because it's a buggy piece of sh*t, resulting in a total restart. This will put an end to any bonuses you were trying to hold onto from the previous week.

Before I started doing VIP missions this morning, I had done some Daily Objectives in a public room. Long story short, I still keep getting double money for VIP missions. Is @Jenkiiii correct, that I won't get banned for this?

From my experience, no it doesn't change. You can join your friends session that lacks snow, however on your screen you'll still have the snow and can chunk snowballs at them.

Nah you won't. When bunkers were paying 3x money for a few hours I left my Xbox on for a few days and sold my bunker a few times everyday. I only stopped because I got signed out of Xbox Live and kicked from the session.

Thanks, @GAUNTLET HELLFIRE. I was rocking along, grinding a lot of hours today, and then my game froze and force-closed, lol so when I booted it up, I was back to regular rewards. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!
