n13 Posted May 10, 2003 Share Posted May 10, 2003 In the PC Version of Vice City, are trails (motion blur) actually enabled at all? There is no option on the display menu to turn them off? Does this mean we have to suffer the laggyness and horribleness of them being on all the time? I hope not, because when I get Vice City on Friday i need every option turned off! I mean, when I popped in the game at first it sucked and I played for months with out them... but once I got used to them in a few minutes I could navigate my way well and it added so much atmosphere to the point where now I wont play without trails. GTAZ Posted May 10, 2003 Share Posted May 10, 2003 Those idiots at R* don't care about PC owners.. they took out the trails effect , something that was rather cool with digital vibrance turned on max in GTA 3 and left the stupid Replay feature with no option to turn it off.. I personally don't care for it.. And whats up with the rain bringing down the framerates again ?? And since when does it rain every other bloody day in Miami???? Morons ported an exact copy of Vice for the PS2 to the PC, and we must stand up to this crap. PC's have much more power and capabilities then a lamn console.. Graphics enhanced.. whatever, i seen better graphics 4 years ago.. Mafia has way better graphics and is bigger then Vice City ... Mafia would be a great game if it were more open ended like Vice City.. Sorry for complaining so much, it's just my opinion, and imho, I think GTA VC PC is a complete waste of HD space. Even if they Mod it with new skins, add a stunt park and change the vehicles ... whoopie doo.. Where is the map editor? The MP capabilities? What about a way to change songs on our MP3 station instead of listening to it loop?? My god, all you people hyping about how great a game it's going to be have no clue on what a PC game should be.
