I asked the guy at my local game vendor and got this Quote "For pc? hmmm uhhh i think about 3-4 months" Okay so its less then a month away till VC PC is released in america and whatnot. COUGH COUGH this is sh*t OMG STUPID f*cking AUSTRALIA AND THERE CENSORING LAWS...... sorry im just pissed off. The same thing happend with gta3, only we didnt have to wait 3 MONTHS MORE THAN OTHERS!!! Now, im against warez, it drives the companies down who try so hard to give us great games. But man........... Ive been waiting for MONTHS, ive seen the PS2 release come and go, In my whole life have played VC for 1 hour. Ive been waiting and waiting for the PC version. Highly edited? Nope. The EXE files are the same size across all countries releases. There is censorship, but Rockstar implemented it really crappily. I live in Australia, bought an Australian version, and because I set my Windows time zone to Central America, I can happily bang prostitutes. Did you know that vices graphics are really being worked on...better graphic...man the missions are sweet! I cant wait to get the game in 1 MONTH! GTA3Freak-2001 Posted April 27, 2003 Share Posted April 27, 2003 Guys I am sure that it will come out in May, The AUS version of GTA3 PC came out around the same time as the UK and the US version. The reason the PS2 AUS Vice City being delayed so much was that they had to go back and edit a finished product, now I am sure that Rockstar will be creating an edited version for Australia before it is realeased anywhere in the world so it shouldn't be released any later then May. And I live in Sydney, and the guys I s'pose to down at EB said that it will be released not long after US and Europe get it, but it will be edited as per GTA3 (PC and PS2) and GTA: Vice on PS2 were. The Australian release is 23rd May 2003 acording to most retailers I have contacted and Topshop still has it down as the 23rd. And also, the only thing thats been cut out of GTA3 and GTA Vice City is "The Hooker Trick". and the PC version will most likly be the exact same disk as in the US and EU, if you remember in GTA3 by changing Windows region settings the game put the hooker trick back in. so if you are that worried about 7 seconds of gameplay then just change your region settings. This is from the R* Webmaster: I talked to the product manager here and he says it is going to be out on May 23rd because of the time it takes to localize the game for Sweden.
