Mister Pink
That's sad to hear. I wouldn't have known he was an octogenarian. For some reason I figured he must be in his 60's. Falling Down and The Lost Boys were two films I was probably too young to watch at the time but I loved them. In the Lost Boys, which there was a copy of at home thanks to probably my older bro recording it off the TV on to VHS, Hearing Echo & The Bunny Men's cover for People Are Strange when I was kid got me into The Doors eventually. I would watch it on repeat. Falling Down would become a classic. It's not without it's flaws and I'm sure would cause the same controversy, if not more than Joker did, if it was released today. Ridiculous but hilarious. Edited June 23, 2020 by Mister Pink Lonely-Martin, Ivan1997GTA and Tacymist 3 𝙼𝚄𝚂𝙸𝙲 𝙽𝙾𝙽 𝚂𝚃𝙾𝙿
Lonely-Martin
A shame to hear. Did some good films too. A Time To Kill, Falling Down, and though they get some deserved stick, the Batman one's were good for a giggle. Lost Boys of course is a gem. Yet to see St. Elmo's Fire though, or may have watched it years ago and it's lost in my brain somewhere. Ivan1997GTA and Mister Pink

Phonebooth was a another good one. Pretty sure I rented that on DVD when I was a teenager. Although, not sure if was really that great after watching the trailer. It's been years since I've watched it. Lonely-Martin 1 𝙼𝚄𝚂𝙸𝙲 𝙽𝙾𝙽 𝚂𝚃𝙾𝙿

It's been years since I've watched it. I thought it was a good film, watched it again on TV a few months back, before the lockdowns IIRC. A bit short mind you, but Keifer Sutherland plays well and with Forrest Whittaker on good form as always and Colin Farrell is pretty good in a role where he needs to play stressed/worried too. Definitely a good gap filler though. But yeah, St.Elmo's Fire... I have no recollection if I have seen it, lol. But it does get mentioned with The Lost Boys as a cult classic so gonna have to look out for it in case I've missed an old gem. I'm sure I've seen 8mm too, but it's another I don't remember much of. Might be mixing it up or parts of it with Bringing Out the Dead which I think was around the same time, lol. Mister Pink
Tacymist
Didn't know he directed Phone Booth and Falling Down. Wow. Falling Down is one of my favorite films, I used to try to simulate the fast food scene in Vice City. lol Lonely-Martin

Lock n' Stock
Could be pretty hit-and-miss at times, but The Lost Boys and Falling Down were very good. R.I.P Mister Pink
