Martin4004 Posted June 13, 2020 Share Posted June 13, 2020 Hello everyone. A time ago, I decided to check if any character in Grand Theft Auto III has its official age. Recently I found on old Zaibatsu Polish website, that Luigi Goterelli is about 29 years old, while Joey Leone is supposed to be 32 years old, and 8-Ball is 35 years old. I write to you guys, because I'm not sure if it's true information or not, if it is, it helps a lot with gathering characters biography, so I'm asking you guys if you know if Luigi Goterelli is indeed 29 years old, Joey Leone is 32, and 8-Ball is 35. Please, if you know it's true, give me some proof/evidence such as link to the trusted source or screenshot or anything else that may proof those ages. Thanks a lot for any help given! Earthbound Posted June 13, 2020 Share Posted June 13, 2020 I'm pretty sure there aren't any official ages for the characters in GTA3. If you wanted to take a guess at the ages of each of the characters, you could take physical appearance into account first, and then find out the DOB of the voice actors (some of the VO's look pretty similar to their in-game counterparts), date it back to 2001 and you'll probably have something pretty close. stef_92 Posted June 28, 2020 Share Posted June 28, 2020 (edited) The best guesses can be made from characters that appear in the other games (at least you can get an idea how they aged). For example Phil Cassidy (probably the only character from the 3D universe to appear on 4 games) is in VCS which is the earliest game and takes place in 1984. He always says that he's veteran and he fought in the Vietnam war. As far as I know the minimum age in the USA to enter the military is 18 years so maybe he fought in the war few years later? Unfortunately the Vietnam war spans from 1955 to 1973 so it's a very wide range and it makes things very difficult. If we assume that he entered in the last year of the war (this is just an example) and if he was 21 years old at the time, this means that he was 32 years old in VCS, 34 in VC, 46 in LCS and 48 in GTA 3. But just like I said - that's just an example and the war ranges between 1955 and 1973 so his service can be anything between these years. However it's highly unlikeliy to be in the beginning because that would mean he's almost 70 years old during the events in GTA 3 (which obviously is not the case ). My guess is that he was in his 50s in GTA 3. Also, believe it or not, I actually looked up somewhere that stated that Toni was 33 years old in 2001. Yeah, hard to believe since he looks way older than that.
