It's very funny how people think GTA V E&E will be nothing but PC settings, they claim the trailers don't show any enormous engine-side changes, but then people are jumping to believe modded screenshots lol. Rockstar's games have never had fully clear footage leaks pre-release, ever. Most of what is found from the dev stages is post-release.

I'm a simple man, I don't need new missions or story arc. I just want updated graphics and online vehicles added to story mode and I'll be happy with it.

Am I right that E&E isn't coming to PC? If so, there is zero chance of map expansions or alterations.

It would mean that either a pc version would come, and would be completely free update (since the game would be 90% same) or that pc players would be pushed to the sidelines with PS3 players. Nowadays they could do either, or even try to sell a new version for PC with only something like Cayo 2.0 added. But it would be dumb even by their standards.

I just can't believe that they would abandon PC. Or try to sell it for the same platform. Or brand a map extension for PC as an update, when trying to sell it as a new on consoles.

Sorry if this is already discussed earlier.

I mean they have no excuse to sell it as a full priced game on consoles either, they are backwards compatible lol. Granted we don't know about its pricing, but seeing that the GTA trilogy was fairly overpriced, selling E&E at full price doesn't seem too far-fetched. As for your question regarding PC, we know next to nothing about E&E content, but I'd guess if Rockstar is implementing updates to the UI, networking etc. I don't think this will come as a free upgrade.

GTAV needs a complete overhaul of controls. Walking and fighting indoors has always been bad, but now that new missions are increasingly inside, it has become really irritating. Driving is outdated, vehicle sounds worst in the business.

If we need to pay after three months, it is interesting to see if current ps4 version is still available after the free period...

If you are referring to the free standalone GTAO for the PS5, I am pretty sure it will work like a PS plus game - that is you grab it within those 3 months and you can access it forever, as long as you have ps plus (which you need for GTAO either way).

I signed up, almost 11 years ago because of the GTA V leaks. Here we are, almost 11 years later and GTA V is still the most recent GTA game...

That's not rendered, they just use a bunch of fake lights and alter weather/time in their promotional screenshots.

 

The only time I remember them using renders was on the official GTAV website, they have some renders in there such as this one

Imagine delaying the re-release of a decade old game, and when you finally release it there is nothing actually improved about it. It's just the same old game in a new console.

Hahaha it's totally mad isn't it? I signed up here in the pre-GTAV hype times. When those screenshots of the helicopter and people sitting by the water in a park were released. The anticipation was incredible and the excitement I felt was off the charts. 10 years later and I can't believe we haven't had another entry yet.

It just so happens that GTAO uses everything GTA V does so that's why we're still stuck with V

i doubt they would make pc players buy the game again for a version that looks exactly the same, what i think will happen is those who already own gta 5 will get their version upgraded to E&E for free and the original gta 5 will be taken off steam on pc and replaced with E&E like they did with the gta trilogy. But those who never bought gta 5 will have to buy it for 40-60$ instead of the 30 you can buy it for today. Just my best guess, pc players will not re buy a version that looks and runs the exact same when it can just be a free update
