I knew about those but I was worried about how exactly would this one runs out, since Sony itself is digging in. I've already asked a friend of mine to log into my account a long time ago when R* made a $1M bonus in two weeks (so $2M overall) to receive it and it worked, so this isn't a new thing for me. But since Sony itself is digging into this as I said, I was worried that this time the actual main account you're playing on needs to be subscribed directly, as in no "As long as this PSPlus-ed account is set to Main PS4 Account every other account will receive said PSPlus benefits" stuff.

It’s difficult to estimate the scope of the project from just this information alone; Video Games Deluxe may be handling only a portion of the game’s development.

 

Whether it’s a completely new IP or a continuation of the GTA series also remains to be seen. The dedicated VR studio cut its virtual teeth on adapting the non-VR version of L.A. Noire (2011) to the medium, so it’s also possible we could be seeing a VR-adapted re-release of an extant Rockstar title such as GTA V (2013) or Red Dead Redemption.

If this really does mean that yes, the re-re-release of online gets VR, it better have ABSOLUTELY F-ING FLAWLESS ANTI-CHEAT, if i get flung into orbit by some cheater scum i'll lose my lunch.

That's more of my style of music. I don't know why we can't at least get a modern rock station added instead of these third rate groups. Oh wait that's right, it's cheaper to get licenses for groups that suck.

I see folk caning R* for this remaster, but I do read many are keen on the re-release of Mafia though.

 

Just seems weird to me is all, lol.

 

Personally I just hope R* have reorganised things so that those working on the remaster have little to do with any new games like VI. Always felt R* should grow so they have a 'retro department' that can work on their old catalog so we get them on the latest consoles. Had hoped RDR and IV made it to PS4 though.

We don´t even know if R* is going to charge for the game if you own it for CG.

My guess, they are not going to charge for it, I am 99% sure that there will be a free upgrade for everyone coming from CG. Both console PS5 and XBox Series X (what a sh#ty name) are backward compatible so in fact it safe to say it will be for free if you already own the game.

And for GTA Online it is confirmed that the game will be for free the first 6 months for everybody. Even if you did not own GTA V for PS4 or CG XBox.

 

Was the Trailer lazy. Yes, it was, so what. F#ck it. Play it or leave it. I am sure GTA6 will blow us away on NG because of all the money and time they are able to spend thanks to GTA Online.

What? It's only free for 3 months, and only on PlayStation. And if it were truly merely a backwards compatible game, it wouldn't have a "myriad of technical improvements and console specific content", it certainly wouldn't have warranted a half assed tailer on a world stage. It's going to be PC spec, and it will not be free.

Okay so its free for 3 months, not 6, and only for PS5.

This is the only official statement we got yet.

 

Everything else is speculation. We still don´t know if it will be charged. You saying it will not be free. It will not be free if you buying GTAV/GTA Online for the first time. And again, my guess is that it will be not charged if you already own it on CG (mark my words).

You saying it´s going to be PC spec, yes I guess so too, but also adding additional content which we would get anyway as future DLCs. Which in total is pretty decent for a free game (if you already own it) Hell yeah, I am looking forward to 4K and 60fps.

For PC owner nothing will change, they will get the same DLCs as for NG.

Now that the dust has settled a bit I'm starting to think all the feedback Rockstar wanted us to provide last year will play a big part in this upcoming version of GTA Online. And if that's the case I'm excited to see the new and improved version.

I've paid for this game like three times. It would be different if buying this gave you 25% off VI & announced a time frame but are they working on VI now? No info on DLC in a year, rounding up and no news on VI. I heard RDR2O is janky, so what are they doing???

Also this is a bit off topic but never in a million years I thought I'd type this; I've been enjoying Watch Dogs 2 recently after the free giveaway. Its story is cheesy but relevant to what's going on in today's world.

 

The game is also shockingly detailed and fun to mess around in its Open world. I'm a bit amazed Ubisoft managed to create it in roughly 2-3 years of development.

Watch Dogs 1 is worth a play as well. Very bang on the nose for its time as well.
