It depends what PS5 version of Xbox's "smart delivery" is, or whatever it's called. If everything is legit and our speculations are going in the right direction, they wouldn't necessarily be showing anything new, just that they'd have better hardware to work with and possibly do things with GTA Online that they can't currently do.

Online need a Las Venturas and San Fierro map expansion on ps5.

Before releasing Liberty City and VIce City in GTA 6

GTA Online has terrible performance issues on PC already, there's nothing that they can do with the game. I've seen someone saying that the reason why Online runs so much worse than Singleplayer is that there's just too many free-mode scripts running on top of each other (i personally get 60-70 FPS in Online and 130-150 FPS in Singleplayer, my GPU usage stays at around 30% and my CPU usage stays at around 15% in Online). The code is just incredibly old (remember that the game was made with 2005/2006 hardware in mind) and throwing better hardware at it will make no difference whatsoever.

Ok What was the last time of this magnitude related to the company had leaks on 3rd party seller like Amazon .. I know there was leaks of the different versions of V for its standard,  collectors etc. But how sure was there a concise leak like this before any type of announcement?

In general this happened either at last years E3 or the one before, Walmart I think it was then leaked a whole bunch of games with titles.

For Rockstar, uh, nothing like this to my memory? Although stuff like RDR2 PC was leaked ahead of time, if you were paying attention to the correct people, and not gospels.

Dick Justice

There is a different option that hasn’t been discussed and isn’t on the poll.

RDRII single-player DLC. If they release it standalone, all these different listings would make sense. Standalone release on PS4, X1, PS5, XSX, and bundled with full game on PS5, XSX (that’s a total of 6 listings right there).

I think it is extremely unlikely given Rockstar’s recent practices, but I thought I’d bring the option to the table regardless.

I would choose new IP. Want to see R* try their hands at something new.

I think if they were to announce anything at all, it would probably be DLC for RDR 2. Though the likelihood for any announcement from Rockstar is slim.

Thats the thing @Jason if it really was a new IP or even 6. They would send their goons scrambling to take the whole thing down cause it would ruin their own website announcement. Its probably something we already have, and it could very be RDR2  and V, beating that dead horse to a pulp again. wait so indeed this leak is real? like really really real Mojo told me its fake. I mean how well its done warrants its real, but again I'm not putting my eggs in that basket of believing it. Im in diffferent, Im not hyped, but I'm also attentive at  the situation. If some is anounced Great! if not, I still get on with life.

Maybe.

There were a lot of listings that went up with it, it's entirely possible that there's a buncha fake stuff up there to throw people off the scent incase the listings leaked early like happened, but really it's by no means unbelievable that they'd announce a new version of at least one of GTA V or RDR2 for the next-gen consoles and given that they announced GTA V current gen at Sony's E3 conference and that marketing relationship still exists (RDO continues to have monthly bonuses for PS+ players) then if they were going to announce a RDR2/GTA V remaster, Sony's big next-gen bash is the place it's going to happen.

Lot of studios also need to announce their next-gen cross over plans as well due to everyone having these online service games, that's gotta happen nice and early to avoid any late confusion and drama.

It is certain that 2020 Dummy ASIN Take 2 (Rockstar) Game 5 is a new game. Because it has been confirmed to be released for Xbox One and PS5.

heart says yes gta 6 tomorrow

brain says no gta 6 tomorrow, especially when you consider that article about improved work conditions at rockstar games saying that gta 6 is still in earlyish development.

very unlikely to be another rockstar title... but if it was it would probably be bully 2 but i definitely would not count on that. gta 6 is more likely than bully 2 right now it seems.

could also be rdr2 for the next gen consoles but including a remaster of a two year old game in tomorrow's online event would just be a waste of time. i'd expect tomorrow's event to only focus on truly next-gen stuff.

so really, we're probably getting no rockstar titles announced tomorrow, but i still aim to watch the event tomorrow because i do have some hope lol.

that's my two cents on the matter. hopefully tomorrow will not disappoint, even if we get no new rockstar games.

If new ip, i want a well development FPS story mode  and with a Battle Royale

Im tried of Fortnite, Apex Legends and CoD Warfare.

We need a new ip that is like Jimmy De Santas's video game in GTA 5.

We know Rockstargames makes the best games, its time for them to sh*t on Fortnite.

Worth noting that this happened before, six Bethesda games placeholders back in June 2019

There were only two Bethesda games that were confirmed coming with a known release date, Wolfenstein: Youngblood and Doom Eternal (which was supposed to release in 2019)

Those new placeholders are interesting, but there's a high chance nothing gets announced tomorrow.
