What worked for me was to: First things first... clear the cache in the launcher and verify game files in the launch settings then close the launcher and relaunch. When you are prompted to log in go to settings and follow these additional steps (if need be) found here: https://www.naguide.com/red-dead-redemption-2-err_gfx_state-fix/ then close and run RDR2 or PlayRDR2 as Administrator from your gaming rig's File Explorer.
