Physical but since I'm buying for the PC it will basically be digital. At least I get a map.

Physical for console and digital for PC as it's clear, that there won't be physical one. I love to have my games on disc so I can install it anytime I want, even if temporarily I don't have access to internet or servers are overloaded, I can play version, that I bought in case of for example license for songs expires (I don't care about online). Moreover I like to read booklet, look at map for the first time (Rockstar's games) and when I buy physical edition I feel, that I really bought something and I know why I paid 60$ for this.

I'll do the same thing I did with GTA V. Buy the special edition on the current gen consoles, then buy it on disk again when it comes out on the next gen consoles & then buy it digital when it comes to PC.

Digital ofc. It's probably 9 years since I last time bought a game on disc.

Oh but this might change since I'll be getting a new console. Don't wanna wait for GTA 6 PC release.

If i end up buying a Xbox or PS5 i will buy a physical disc. When the PC release comes around i'll buy digital.

If all goes as I hope for, physical. I love the maps and would want the new game in my collection.

A physical copy for sure. As much as it seems like an inconvenience to most people, I love being at a packed store for a midnight release. Actually seeing the same excitment for the game in other peoples eyes, and the explosive roar when the clock hits midnight and the employees crack open the boxes... Such a great experience.

Semi off-topic: I remember going to my towns EB Games (Australian Gamestop) for the midnight release of GTA V. The store held a graffiti competition, where you pretty much had to "tag up" a white board and the person with the best graffiti tip calculator art got their copy of the game first. Too this day I'm still pissed my almost one-to-one "Grove 4 Life" tag lost to a stick figure doing a drive by.

This looks so much fun! I wonder if they will do the same for GTA 6.

I have always preferred the physical disks because I love the maps and extra features they thrown in :)

Disc. I don't like downloading things like games, never have never will. Plus I like having the cases the discs come in, even if they don't even have a booklet in them anymore.

I tend to buy all of my games digitally now. Over the last 6 months I've only bought 2 games on disc and everything else on my PS4/XB1 digitally.

I like the convenience of digital pre-orders and being able to install the games before launch and pretty much playing straight away (unless there's a day 1 patch), not having to worry about copies being sold out at the store and so on. The only reason I'd buy it physically is just like GTA IV and GTA V where I bought the special editions that came with physical content and if GTA VI has one.

Otherwise I'll just digitally download like I did with RDR2.

If I can then i'll pick the physical release every time, but  i'm weaning myself off the consoles and on to the PC so I have a feeling it will be digital this time.

A shame really imo but I can live with it.

I prefer disc since these store servers won't be up forever.Still got games from 10+ years ago that still work so I see no problem.

Physical. I don;t want them releasing a new enhanced remake anniversary whatever version that removes my favourite songs because fanbois demand it.

I remember buying GTA V on ps3 when it first came out and leaving it to download all night when it let you preinstall the game before release. When I bought my ps4, i bought it bundled with the GTA V disc. However, I think I will have to go the digital option atm really as I cba trekking out to the store or ordering online and potentially having the delivery messed up or delayed. Who knows, I might change my mind and decide to get a disc after all but tbh, Im not really the collecting type

Disc, because of the manuals/maps/additional items that come with the game.

It just feels better in my opinion to have a physical copy of the game. Is there a huge difference in price between physical and digital copy of the game?

Physical Copy with the most expensive Collectors Edition.

I may also buy it digitally just so I can play it right when it comes out.

There are no reasons for me to go for physical. Not even sure it will exist in a traditional form apart from some merch and code to download and activate game online. In the era of total connectivity and always online games physical offers zero advantages as a source. To buy digital I will waste resources on the disks, fuel to get it delivered, time when installing because internet is usually faster than BR drives.
