Power Creep In This Game Is Insane

Recommended Posts

I stopped playing around 3-4 years ago. Did everything, had just about everything. Multiple criminal mastermind challenges done (helping other crew members do it) GTA online was pretty tapped out.

I came back because PC was free, and $0.00 is the right price to start over from scratch because R* doesn't want to transfer characters anymore... Anyway now people have flying cars... There's more military vehicles than recent Battlefield games, lasers, nuclear bomber planes... Hover bikes with countermeasures...

I guess the new content is cool, but I feel like older stuff needs some TLC to bring it up to par with the far superior new toys. Or, make ancient stuff like the tank and Buzzard cheaper.

I suggested one thing. But I know. Luckily on PC there are
ways to even things out.

You suggested price drops for old content and rebalancing of old content...that’s two things.

Good luck on pc lol

Well I meant one or the other needs to happen, not both. But ya, I guess I did. I'm tired lol

I think starting over in 2020 is the waste of time. At this point Online is far from its peak, it's more broken and more grindy. None of the things you have mentioned are going to happen and R* will milk it to death while marketing the thing to the new players who will be buying shark cards.

Yeah, I don't think money was ever easier in the game than it is right. There's also a lot more stuff you can waste it on of course.

I don't believe there was a golden age of GTA Online at any one point. The game has always been an unbalanced mess. The hardest part is finding enough good people to play with -- then you'll create your own fun and never have to set foot into a real public session again. Most people identify their own personal golden age of GTA Online as the time they had the most friends playing it.

That's true. For me it was when Heists finally dropped. We all stayed up all night waiting for it, and then did them all.
